NTU APPEAL

Hi all ..

Just to share with you all .. I got into NTU computer science after appealing .. haiz .. not the course i wanted to take ..

for those who wants to know my GPA, i graduated with distinction diploma with GPA of 3.61 and I have good CCA records to boost my chances .. like represent singapore for LKY global business plan and also president of a club in my school.

I got contact with NTU about my appeal but the result not yet come out.The incharge person said my case had been summited to higher authority and once they have decided, they will inform me.
can any1 tel me who had ever face this experience before???Until now i haven get the result.Im so worry.Is this means im in waiting list??or mayb i failed to get it??

if any person have this experience ,please share..or gv some opinion...

perhaps u are really borderline case for the course you appealed .. what course did u appeal for?

for me . i sent an e-mail last friday and got the offer today (monday) haha.

So sad...My appeal failed!!!after wating till so long,they still failed me out...y just cant gv me a chance????jz a word "unsuccessfull" really bring me down...
y NTU so cruel???my result vy weak????mayb just slightly weaker only wat...
i tried so hard and keep on waiting hope that there will be any chance for me...but eventually return with hopeless...

Ahya..you must be realistic what. Maths and econs does not seem easy to get in. What's your o lvl results? I think you would stand a chance if you have appealed for other courses instead..

STPM is that the Malaysia Cert ?
I think NTU have limited spaces. Every year a lot of people from Poly and JC want to admit to NTU. In addtion of that, a lot of scholar from China, Indonesia, Malaysia and etc. compete for the limited spaces.
Please be realistic a bit lah.

i mean, those who alrdy got the offer letter can go accept their offer at NTU website alrdy since its opened on 10 june.. will we get the letter to inform us whether we're accepted or rejected THIS early?

its good if u got into a place in the uni. its great that u got GOOD results which allows u to get that place in the U. but i think u've got a really bad character which will not bring u far in life.

ppl with poor results yet still determined to get into a U i tink instead of giving such bad remark, why not say smth that encourages instead?
