how many times alrdy?

2nd time only.

1st time was kallng MRT project.

could have applied Bidadari for both Nov and May BTO to enjoy MCPS, as my mom is staying at Potong Pasir.

But somehow I prefer old estate area.

sibei Sayang.

2nd timer apply for non mature estate to stand a better chance.

only 5% of mature estate bto is reserved for 2nd timer.

I remember Ah Khaw changed 5% to 15% and I was sore with it. Sore because I tried new BTO 5 times as 2nd timer before giving up and went for EC balance flats with no queue. Within a few months of booking EC, 2nd timer chance was raised to 15%.

The application will be considered 2nd timer as long as either one party is 2nd timer status.

It used to be so but recently HDB has changed rule stating that as long as one of the applicants is 1st timer, they will be considered as 1st timer? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes I asked hdb and as Long as one applicant is 2nd timer, it will be considered 2nd timer :( bye bye Dakota

Hmmm, it seems that the old rule is still enforced.

Don't feel dishearten, did you apply for 3rm or 4rm? You may still stand a chance at 3rm.

First-timer applicant
First-timers enjoy privileges and priority in flat allocation.

Yours will be treated as a first-timer application if you and any of the other listed owners and essential occupiers meet the following criteria:

Not the owner of a flat bought from HDB, or an EC/ DBSS flat bought from a developer
Not sold a flat bought from HDB, or an EC/ DBSS flat bought from a developer
Not received any CPF Housing Grant for the purchase of an HDB resale flat
Not taken any form of housing subsidy (e.g. benefitted under the Selective En bloc Redevelopment Scheme (SERS) or HUDC estate privatisation)

If you are a second-timer and your spouse/ spouse-to-be is a first-timer, you will be glad to know that you and your spouse/ spouse-to-be will enjoy first-timer privileges and priority as a couple.

Second-timer applicant
Yours will be treated as a second-timer application if any of the following applies to you or any of the other listed owners and essential occupiers:
Have owned or sold any of the following:
HDB flat bought from HDB
Resale flat bought using a CPF Housing Grant
EC/ DBSS flat bought from the developer
Once taken some form of housing subsidy (e.g. benefitted under the Selective En bloc Redevelopment Scheme (SERS), HUDC estate privatisation)

Ya, that was what I read and gathered that there is a change of rule. So is it consider as 1st timer or 2nd timer? Confusing..

Does anyone have the link to the Clementi NorthArc and Peaks sales brochure? My queue number was 18xx out of 766 and I didn't receive it. But just want to take a look nevertheless.

Many thanks!

Apparently this 2nd timer is only applicable to balloting. The ones you read online is for grants

Well, at least there's no need to wait plus you get to select what you really want. BTO will mean give and take for most people out of the top 20% range during selection.
