i had applied for 4-room. Was previously looking at punggol or sengkang area but come to think of it, I had been living in yishun since birth and i am more comfortable with the location. Hahahahaha. Additionally, i was studying in Chongfu and has been an alumni, easier put my kid there and my mum can go fetch him on behalf and let him stay at her place while i am at work .

Yes, BTO flats will have a scale model on display during selection, and tile and door samples will be up too. It is different from the My Nice Home showflat on Level 3 or 4 though. The latter is generic.

honestly speaking, i had not actually look at it into details. My hubby doesnt like to stay by the road so it is very likely that we would look at units facing the inside. But i would be keen on looking at the seletar reservoir. Lol. We shall see once the detailed stack/information is available. Heez

Reservoir view will always command a premium selling price next time especially high floor...reservoir is next best to sea view ...check the price of houses facing bedok reservoir...

Yea, units facing road will be more prone to dust. Furthermore, across FS are reserved for future development. Cant imagine when construction commence when we start moving in.
On the other hand, not often we get HDB faces a reservoir / sea for a view!

If you coast along the country club road, you see private developments and HDB is the opposite. Hopefully the "high rise" are landed bungalows / semi-ds! Lolx

Actually, i have access to "sea view" when looking out from my window at my mum's place in yishun. Almost everyday i could see and hear vessel coming by and the opposite is Malaysia! The only problem with the "sea view" is it is beri beri far. Lol. Anyway, i don mind whichever block as long as i have a place call home, quiet and nice to my comfy . Have been staying away from singapore too long and tired of renting places overseas. Anyway, The surrounding will also have constructions for future housing, utimately a potential blocked view even though u might have a sea or resevoir view now .

Thanks for sharing. I am actually looking at 8-11 floor. Depends on my ballot no. And availability too
