Yes, u need to select mcps and enter your parents address. For pps as i have a child mths old then, auto become pps. Yupz, applying for forest spring @yishun. Have been staying in yishun forever...i amI working overseas for now, so waiting for the results out so that i can book my tickets to come back and select.

A 3rm in Geyland is not exactly considered cheap but it's good to work within your budget. When I bought my place more than 10 years ago, I calculated based on only half of our combined income. True enough, economy got rocky many times along the way but we were still able to switch jobs and fire useless bosses along the way.

With not much of a loan, we saved up most of our cash and put it in places to fight inflation. Point is, everybody has their choices and we make decisions based on our comfort level.

Good choice.

If i may ask for myself and on behalf of a lot of readers here. Without adjusting for inflation, how much did u buy ur geylang place 10yrs ago and how much is it worth today?

"Same situation" as you. I received the acknowledgment letter consider as first timer. First application is under your name or partner ? Will it be affected ?

Go down to HDB, take a Q no. and asked. I do the same too. The replied was clear when you face to face ..

second timer in terms of balloting chance. 1st timer = 2 chance and 2nd timer = 1 chance.

BTO = Balloting : so it will affect
Resale = No Balloting : so it will not affect

hdb did not promise you that condition. read the show flat terms.
if you are considering renovation to that extent, rule of thumb = 10% of property purchase cost. approximately.

i had applied for 4-room. Was previously looking at punggol or sengkang area but come to think of it, I had been living in yishun since birth and i am more comfortable with the location. Hahahahaha. Additionally, i was studying in Chongfu and has been an alumni, easier put my kid there and my mum can go fetch him on behalf and let him stay at her place while i am at work .

I actually applied for Nov SOBF 5rm though q number wasn't very ideal but may still have a chance to select a unit.

Then for the BTO, we actually applied for 4rm cause the plan is to pay off the housing loan in 5-10 years.
