Not true la. Maybe some people got 150k - 180k in CPF OA? Personally have seen couples who work >6-7 years have it. A loan of 300k is still possible for a HH income of 4.5 -5k.

Looks like a 400m walk to both stations if your unit is along the perimeter of the plot. This is if you can cut through the upcoming developments like Woodleigh Glen and Village pretty directly. Shouldn't be much of a problem if it is sheltered.

Yeah, you either need substantial savings or daddy-mummy bank loan to afford it at 5k monthly combined, so it can be quite correct to say most buyers aren't getting any grants

May I know more about the reason behind the hype about bidadari? I mean obviously Dakota is more central, and both bidadari and Dakota developments are near MRTs. So what makes bidadari stand out?

I think the site to get this time is actually Dakota isn't it? Bida-Payoh is the second choice, further from MRT and all. Maybe some people are bothered by the former's distance to bustle and vice, but for me the fact that it is near so many good eating places (Old Airport Road FC, Joo Chiat, Geylang...) is difficult to beat.
