Thanks! Mine does fall under so apparently either same estate or the distance.

It still never made any sense to me why Bidadari is lumped under TPY..haha..but oh wel, not complaining if it gives me an additional chance I guess..

for the obvious reason that they want to earn more money from this prime lot.
if they tag under mature estate they can jack up the price of each units by at least 150k

Dear all

Need your help here. We are a first-timer applicant looking to apply for the Married Child Priority Scheme (MCPS) for BTO, and have the following questions:

1. Don't qualify for mcps using hdb calculator but on google maps it's within 2km. How?
2. Will hdb reject application if we end up not qualifying for mcps?

shd be under 2nd timer. since you will be classified under the remaining 5% of the allocated slots.

their calculator must say you are eligible than you can be qualified as MCPS. if not they will not recognized.

this is the calculator you used right? cos if u used other calculator it may not be correct. the below link is for this BTO only

but i believe when you are registering, there is one page where it must go through verification before you can apply for MCPS.


best is to call their CSO to confirm if you can apply MCPS anot. cos there is always a possibility that the calculator has error.

Maybe in the past.

Nowadays you can hardly make that much if you factor in loan interests, first hand reno costs, etc.

Can provide a little more details about the housing estate in question? I would imagine the HDB calculator has the final say, since only they are privy to how they draw that 2km arc. But again, call to be sure.

Hi, I'm a first timer here. I'm intending to get a SBF. Will the priority go to the second timers first?

I've checked online, able to view the remaining units available. However when I tried to submit online, was not able to do any selection of units. May I ask if SBF works the same as BTO? Q number will be issued and we will only be able to select the unit we want depending on the Q number (priority)?

Likewise, if the flat we picked is within 2km or in same town as parents' place, we are qualified for MCPS and $20k grant? Anybody able to advise if the $20k grant is regardless of income and mature/non mature town? Our combined income has already exceeded $8.5k.

The 20k is it the near parents grants? If yes it is only applicable to resale flats.

BTO & SBF allocation for 1st timers & 2nd timers are as below:

Do not confuse MCPS with the Proximity Housing Grant (PHG). One is a scheme, the other is a grant. The $20k grant does not come together with the MCPS, and is only applicable for resale flats.

I live at Jalan Dua. The 3S units of my block (48 yrs old) is easily be sold at least 340k. And 4 room units in the entire old airport rd area is at least 600k.

Hi. Can someone explain to me on. The application rates on First Timers, Second Timers and Overall?
So if the First Timers for Bidadari 4 room is 1.6 and Second Timers 5.4 and Overall is 1.8 what does it tell?
