Hi! Do I have to go to the Comcentre to exchange a normal Singtel TV set top box for a DVR one?

DVR comes with additional cost of set top box rental. you can't just exchange it like this, you need to call in and do the arrangement i think..

I'm aware of the additional cost (+$8++ :(). Considering it 'cos too old to stay up for the early morning football matches. Wanna record them for easy playback.

Eyes-on-profits-only Singtel has removed the football on demand for the Premier League & cup matches. Expect me to catch up on the iPad via Singtel TV GO (only Premier League). Meh. & still have to subscribe for many of the related features.

After the end of my current contract, I'll jump on the Android box bandwagon. Or if StarHub upped its sports coverage (rights), I'll dump Singtel in a heartbeat.

Hi zensushi,

Exchange of the set-top box with no transactions (e.g. content pack re-con or upgrade) can be done at +Serve (313 Somerset).

If you're re-contracting and upgrading the set-top box via telesales, the exchange will be done via courier service.

Hope this helps.

Hi Singtel - previously expressed disappointment that Chn 101 Multiview to view 4 EPL matches at same time was pulled/removed? My idea is : how about the most basic TV Go plan at least 2 devices? Cannot view 4 at the very least 2 matches loh - u are afterall charging for the app these days :(

Freeeze/hang issue should have been fixed quite some time ago, but there should still be a few seconds lag due to the way Singtel encrypts the data. Shouldn't really be much of an annoyance nowadays though.
