I think the timeline should be the same as those SBF which keys are ready for collection. After selection of flat, you will need to wait 1 to 2 months for second appointment which is signing of lease agreement and at the same time key collection.

Noted, thanks!

Got queue number for sembawang SBF. am looking to only get married in Aug 2018 and hoping to get a house around the same time so we can move it straight after marriage. However, most of flat's completion date is in 2019. Do flats usually finish few months before the completion date or really around the completion date? Would help in my planning. Thanks in advance!

I think there have been cases where key collection was brought forward by 2-3 months.

Not to pour wet bucket but for my case for SOBF0215, I didn't manage to get my unit at estimated completion date as they take a long time giving out the keys slowly. So if it's important for you, choose a project which is going to be completed. Canberra got so many projects completing this year so you can pick those.

It depends on the unit you're getting. From what other BTO-ers shared before, within 1 project, the time that the first person gets the keys can be at least 1-2 months earlier than the time the last person gets the key. And so when you get the key depends on the number of units your project has, and where your unit is in the queue.

P.S. it might be tiring planning wedding, moving in and doing reno all at the same time (at least emotionally, physically and financially). so you might want to stagger them out abit..

hope this helps :)

may I understand why there are folks who do not go for BTO but insist on SOBF instead?

Knowing that it is already luck to get a number, and the odds for getting a high floor compared to a fresh BTO is lesser and most of the units are low level.

So why people still wait for SOBF specifically?:s11:

For me, want get keys faster lo. The Aug BTO that time my appt still got 7/8 floor, but I gave it a miss. My number for SBF probably can get me 4/5 floor top. But can take keys this year, so why not. Aug de have to wait 3-4 years, a little bit too long la

BTO also no guarantee get high floor, tio bo?

Estimated completion date - the estimated date of completion of construction

Estimated delivery possession date - the estimated date that HDB has to hand over the flat to the applicants.

for my case I go for sobf is because my replacement flat only ready by 2022/23 under SERS plan, the price was very high even I wait for that flat the price will not go down.I can choose any area any bto/sobf also can study the price. That make my move to apply sbf:) right now my selection was on may:)

For skyline I & II in bukit batok, is there any difference in sqm in term of flat with and without balcony?

Anyone know about this? :s11::s11:

Are you looking at 4 or 5 room? I was unable to find the floor plans or block plan for Skyline 1 but there is only 1 4-room unit available that is 95 sq m, while the others are 92 sq m. Similarly, there are 2 5-room units which are 115 sq m, while the rest are 112 sq m, so the additional 3 sq m could be the size of the balcony?

Click on any block. Move your mouse over the units available (in blue), and you should be able to see the price and size of that unit. On the right, you should be able to pick the 'Town Map', and 'Block Plan'. The 'Block Plan' will reflect the floor plan of the unit as well.

However, there is no 'Block Plan' option for Skyline 1.

Hope this helps! :)
