If it's a small no, applying for HLE early is quite ok, if it's big then hopefully the selection process doesnt take long.
HLE expires in 6 months.

I dont know about SBF.. this is my first time applying..
but for BTO it is about 0 - 10 a day..
We just got to wait and see.

Actually hor i also applied my HLE already in November before i even applied for sbf HAHAHA!
Mainly is to see how much we can loan, and how much will the monthly instalment be haha.
So hopefully my appointment is before the hle expiry date >.<
I heard that hdb will send u a letter telling u when to apply for hle, so no need gan cheong haha.

Just apply to check how much i can loan but quite low
I applied in dec actually HAHAH so ganchiong. So i think by the time choose unit need reapply again... Bcos now i havent officially apply for the letter, just checking the amy of loan, but i guess need to apply for the letter soon

Hi just applied for a SBF 4 room at Bukit Batok
Also noticed that the flat supply is lesser than the ethnic quota
Flat supply 372 units
Ethnic quota
Malay 110 units
Chinese 371 units
Indian and other races 138 units

Am i to assume that all the 371 units for the Chinese would not be put up for selection?
How does these things work

I applied for BB 4-room flat and got a number within the total supply of flats, but best case scenario probably can only choose from high-floor west edge units.

Hi all, anyone knows how the progression for selection is like? Do the queue numbers move 5 a day, or will it be 10 a day? Just trying to estimate when my selection date will be. Thanks!

From what I understand from previous threads, the beginning stage will move a bit slower. like 5 a day. after that the numbers will move faster and also after that no one else post in forum cos all too busy selecting flats already. so i also not sure hehe.

but one thing is that selection will not be consecutive everyday.

Regarding the ethnic quota, there was ever someone that posted a very clear explanation about it in here before, but can't really remember much.

But basically there will be some form of overlap in terms of ethnic quota. like one unit is not just strictly for Chinese only, it will be open to Chinese Malay and Others, so this case it can appear 3 times just for 1 unit.

Once flat selection starts the ethnic quota will be updated live as well.

Last year I applied may and august bto. Both I got number beyond the flat supply. Now only left with Super Low floors. If I forgo these two appointments,I think I will be downgraded to second timer
