BTW, please take note there is another Singtel hi! S$15 5G+ SIM Card and data plan which is PrePaid.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/prepaid-plans/hi-sim-cards
https://www.singtel.com/personal/terms/prepaid-mobile-terms

The above S$15 hi! 5G+ Prepaid SIM used to be at the same SingTel hi! website and caused a lot of confusions. Now they removed most of the things. But the bottom part has not been updated, including the FAQ.

Anyone has experience on the hi! 5G plans? Or it shouldn't differ to Singtel SIM Only plans?

Need to port out tomorrow from circles, deciding between hi! 5G at $13 or vivifi $10 free 5G 6 months (then see how)

The S$13/S$15 SingTel hi! 5G Postpaid plans are new, just launched today.

Therefore no one can really share the user experience with you now.

As for priority, I believe it will be lower than SingTel S$15.28 plan.

Maybe same priority as Zym/Zero1/VIVIFI/CMLink S$15 5G plan.

Competitor to Singtel S$15.28 5G+ plan ---> Singtel hi! new S$13 / S$15 per 30 days 5G+ plan with better roamig features

Port in offer --> S$13 per month
New user --> S$15 per month
Wow this is better offering! Hoping SIM only $15.28 also have better offering

Let's see whether SingTel 5G+ Enhanced/Priority plans will get better roaming benefits first, before we can wish for better roaming benefits of the S$15.28 plan...

Right now the S$24.50 per month and S$35 per month 5G+ Enhanced plans (12 month contract) only get 10GB Malaysia roaming data, worse than the S$15.28 per month plan (12 month contract) with 50 GB Malaysia roaming data and 4GB Asia roaming data.

The S$40 per month no contract 5G+ Enhanced Core plan is a bit better with 50 GB Malaysia roaming data.

https://www.singtel.com/personal/mobile/plans/sim-only

But who knows, let's see if there are good news later.

Maybe SingTel is doing preemptive move to fight the combined SIMBA/M1 entity (the merger is likely to happen in the end) and eight.

Previously they mainly use ST MVNOs to fight SIMBA and eight, now SingTel hi! also joins the foray.

By default, all with free Called ID.

All the Singtel hi! postpaid SIM Only plans come with free Caller ID.

BTW, all the Singtel SIM Only plans (S$15.28, S$20.37 plans, or the 5G+ Enhanced, 5G+ Priority) come with free Caller ID. However, for those with 12 months contract, Caller ID is NOT free if out of contract. Please check the terms and conditions carefully.

Example for those with 12 months contract.

Singtel S$15.28 per month plan, make sure you recontract before the contract expires, if not the cost is very high.

1. Best offer for non senior citizen
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/eform/simonlyplusform
12-month contract
250GB of 5G+ data
FREE 6GB DataRoam Monthly to Malaysia for next 12 months (worth $192) --> Upgraded to 50GB as on 30-August-2025
1,000 mins
500 SMS
12 FREE months of Caller ID
12 FREE months of 5G+ Access
$15.28/mth

Note: after 12 month contract, the plan becomes very expensive (S$30.56+S$5.09+S$5.45=S$41.1 per month). No one really wants to use the plan out of contract after 12 months. Remember to recontract before contract expire data, you can also port out after contract expires.

all these special features by the sim-only plan like 12-mth free caller ID is really a chore to keep tab on. also have to be careful about roaming charges that might kicked in unknowingly.

which is why those MVNOs are generally 'cleaner' and don't shock you with 'sudden' charges and what not.

also, seems like the 'house plans' (plans under direct parent like Singtel) lacks the more generous features in roaming, IDD, etc.

I might just port out after my $15.28 contract ends back to one of Singtel's MVNOs with better features as long as there's normal 5G (without priority).

Just checked my main line

Plan changed from 5G Enhanced Lite (the 24.50 dollar plan) to SIM Only 30 Plus (20 dollar plan)

No more 5G Enhanced VAS, got this 5G NOW and another 5G NOW (QOS755) VASes

Bundled 50GB Malaysia Roaming VAS also added without further input needed, alongside the usual talktime/SMS/data VASes

Homemaker Priscilla Wee, 56, said she had tried many times to turn her phone on and off. She even reloaded her GOMO e-SIM, but to no avail.

She was cut off from mobile connectivity on the morning of March 16, and lamented that she could have missed a call from her clinic about an important medical report.

Frustrated, she terminated her GOMO line on March 17 and opened a new account with StarHub. “The trust factor with Singtel is now gone,” she said.

People not weak.
People just frustrated.
Would be funny once StarHub goes down and she terminate her StarHub plan and lost their trust.

My point is, people are re-active for particularly no reason.

The world is reactive, that's why we have 因 and 果
To the religious world, this is considered as karma
To the world of science, it just cause and effect.

If Telco A fails, naturally people would move to Telco B
But with arrivals of MVNOs, there are so many cheap plans, having a secondary line is a life saver when such breakdown occurs.

BTW, please take note there is another Singtel hi! S$15 5G+ SIM Card and data plan which is PrePaid.

it is still not updated. Indeed quite confusing. People may assume that new $15 plan is a prepaid plan.

A side note, if you access via Singtel's main page https://www.singtel.com/
and choose mobile - plans - prepaid, it takes you to https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/hi
Which is the new hi! postpaid page. NOT their prepaid page.

Don't worth it to do so much homework before choosing either hi! postpaid or prepaid

IMDA to publish findings of Singtel disruption investigations, ‘strong regulatory action’ could be taken

Ms Teo said that preliminary reports showed the Mar 16 incident affected more than 600,000 Singtel mobile customers and lasted for about nine hours.

In a separate incident a day later, around 2,000 customers faced mobile connectivity issues due to "a software bug from an earlier pre-planned IT system upgrade".

The issue was resolved around 4pm that day.
