I'm not sure how much better is Dimensity 8300 vs 8+ Gen 1 though but if it's comparable, it's interesting to see how their X series is better than the F series in less than half a year and yet it's cheaper. Only reason i can think of is Qualcomm is charging a lot for their SoC or that Dimensity is still not as good an SoC as Snapdragon despite the benchmark scores.

You already said it's a cheap Android phone but if you add up the price of 2 of these cheap Android phones over alternate generations, it's still half the price of an iPhone and with the same years of support and longer warranty so in a way, it's actually better support than iPhones.

My f5 is like 390 for same variant with 12gb though... Maybe wait for vouchers will be cheaper

I think xiaomi could have streamline their products better
Xiaomi XX for best of perf n photography
Redmi note XX for general low-midrange use
1 series for better performance, lesser photography
1 series for better photography, lesser performance

dun think there'll be any big significant changes

For sure they wun gib chiu ifone or samseng cam superior "quality" even if they market it as flagship-level

unless they willing "break the norms" starting with this next F6 series

Can kindly recommend screen protector for Poco F5 that is easy to paste on. My skill no good, paste SP always slightly slanted.

Can spray some water on the screen, then apply the SP. You will be able to still move the SP abit until you are satisfied, then use a credit card to push out all the water and bubbles.
