OH yeah EU Rom, forgot to say.

Changes i've noticed

1) The speed improvements is very noticeable. I'm using Nova launcher but i can see the transitions is pretty quick and feel less heavy. Was on 0.5s animations before but now i switched 2 out of the 3 to 1.0s to enjoy the fluidity but still wanna feel the speed improvement without the stutter any longer. Opening apps also faster, some apps actually load 2-3s faster.

2) Seems some settings also change with some additional stuff but i don't remember much from before cos it's still just as messy lol.

3) RAM usage doesn't seem to have change also but never had much issues with lack of RAM so i didn't pay much attention.

4) Battery life seems slightly worse but i can't really tell yet, maybe cos it's still indexing so i'll wait 1 week before i conclude since it's suppose to have improved it.

5) Some bugs likes occasional stutter seems fixed. The annoying notifications jumping around also seems to be fixed so now i've reinstalled one of my app back with permanent nonfictions .

I didn't factory reset my phone but i think i'll do it over the weekend since this is rather huge upgrade (though it's only like 900mb)

One reason.. But also because most user are in China.. So u see the update very fast for China ROM. But u see other brands... Their updates u can vomit blood.

you mean other Chinese brands or Samsung? Google pixel is fast, Sony is quite fast too. MIUI global is the one cause me to vomit blood.

MIUI 12.5 for Global MI ROM is here. Just updated, right from the start, felt the animations are smoother. Will monitor a few more days to see.

Think my battery life is back to like before i updated, so it's quite ok.


Think now only Android 12 can make the battery life better and hopefully a more refined 12.5 after some updates will add to that. At least the performance has improved.

By the wa, can our mobile phone and this one in particular, be use to read blood oxygen level? Or more important, if it can, is it accurate?

Can't seem to find any info other than Galaxy S9 and S10 that are clinically certified for it.

I don't think our phone can. no Xiaomi phone I recall has this ability.
