Hi, I'm looking for an affordable colour laser printer that's not too bulky.

1. Mono or Colour - Colour
2. Print, Print Scan Copy (3in1) or Print Scan Copy Fax (4in1) - 4in1
3. Printing capacity per month - For small business. Perhaps 200-300pgs/month
4. Budget - $300+ - $600+
5. Other extra requirement like wireless, iphone printing etc. - Affordable replacement toners pls! And I'm not sure about toners but they are all individual right? i.e. if one color is out we just replace the toner for that color?

hi there, i'm a very light user but I need to scan/copy and occasionally print colour (20% of the time). 80% of the printing is black and white. hence i don't want to spend too much on printers. i don't do any photo prints. wireless would be nice if it doesn't cost too much extra.

should i be looking at inkjet (say epson?) for cost and smudge/smear free prints instead? although i heard that ink will dry up. i probably only print once every 3 months? how long will the ink last before drying up? a lot of maintainence to clean the printer heads etc?

any recommendations?

What does 2 + 2 warranty means?
-It meant that for the first 2 years (parts and labour free) for the next 2 years (parts free but you have to pay labour cost $30 for carry-in and $60 for on-site)

What parts the warranty covers?
-Everything + drum. Only toners not covered.

Would toners be on discount also?
-Yes 15% off. You can buy and store up also as there is no expiry date.

2. We dont have duplex for CM215fw but CM305df have it and both printers print out are so much better compared to brother. Hwzers can test it during this Sitex if Brother have demo print setup. Fuji Xerox have demo print setup for all 3 booths.

3. You have omit out Brother no.1 consumable killer. The drum. MFC-9330cdw have 4 individual drums (they cannot be found at Retail stores. So once it is fault or duty cycle finish, you have difficulties to replace the drum.) Cost $185



While Fuji Xerox cover the drum under warranty for CM215fw for 2 +2 years

CAn remove the 20% of colour prints? Cause based on your situation, your print head will constantly clog due to lack of printing volumes. If can remove your 20%, just get mono laser printer cheap cheap $100+ can liao

IF you dont need those fancy mobile printing stuffs get Fuji Xerox.

Unless if bo bian dont want losing quality printing for this function then go for Brother.


When i mean quality printing i means that Brother will be printing like inkjet quality

I only recommend the specs and toner prices. I didnt force anybody to purchase Lexmark printer. If its due to the printer model, i can recommend Xerox,samsung or HP. At the end of the day. Its also up to THEM to decide which brand and model to purchase.

I dont care what brand you recommend. Each brands have their own supporter and I am not to judge which one hwzers should buy. We can only recommend the best to their needs. What irritates me is that when fellow hwzers look for print only functions and you recommend multifunction.

So if you still think that you are right then by all means continue to give your recommendations.

PS DID I EVER MENTION ABOUT LEXMARK BRAND IN MY PREVIOUS RANT?

I would appreciate if you could stop being so sensitive. I do not want this thread to evolve into another WTS thread with the influx of direct sales person pushing their products without giving consideration to fellow hwzers needs.

I can recommend Lexmark Ricoh Dell Oki to hwzers too but why didnt I recommend? For the same price them can get better specs printers from other brands and have easier time to buy their consumables from accessible major stores like Challenger, Harvey Norman, Best Denki, Courts, Popular. These four brands toners are non-existent.

Hi all, need some advice regarding my Brother DCP7060D.

Recently, every printout consists of a faint line print across the page. Have cleaned the corona wire and shaked the toner, but the line still persists.

Is it time to change the drum, though drum life still have around 50%?

CM205fw is the smallest 4 in 1 colour laser in the market.

i think samsung clx3305w is equally small, it is less deep but taller. features n price r in betw cm205/215b n cm205/215fw.

User are comparing prices on 4 in 1. So i don't really think its an offense to recommend Lexmark 4 in 1. And i do know that, Lexmark do not sell their original toner. But im able to provide/or i should say sell toners to En-user with an reasonable price.
Every printer will have their own advantages. If im able to recommend printers with cheaper price and toners to En-user
And prices of printer/toner is up to the sales person to quote.
Printers are cheap, its the consumable and page count that rack in 1 of the major source of revenue for printers company and out sources. En`user are paying $50 to $60 toners for 1.2k yield. Where by other brands of toner, they can get $100 to $130 for a 25k yield depends on the model.

Yes high chance is drum cycle finish. To be honest, the % gauge is not accurate. Your print out is the best gauge.

I have nothing against Kiroshu but I just do not want to thread which so far have hwzers giving those humble opinions to fellows hwzers to degrade into a WTS thread. Pushing wrong products because of their commissions or they carry certain models to hwzers without due consideration for their needs are unethical in my view. I have always stand at a neutral ground as I do not sell printers. All recommendations are based on my customer feedbacks and my testing of certain printers.

Hopes this clarifies everything. If Kiroshu had recommend the correct model then I am ok with it.
