With the barrage of nonsensical questions pouring towards the other Qoo10 thread, I decided to start this thread so that we could update the most commonly asked questions on the very first page.

DO NOT

  1. Ask/Beg people to gift Events-Cart Coupon
  2. Post anything with referral links such as qoo10.sg/su/*********
  3. Bother to use coupons on Time Sale/Daily deal/Q·chance discounted items.
  4. Ask about Credit Cards Promo
  5. Use the same Paypal or Credit Card on Multiple Qoo10 Accounts, using it will warrant a BAN on all affected Qoo10 accounts, be selfish, stay selfish.


DO
  1. Read the FAQ for any question before asking any of it.
  2. Understand the idea of using (use all for maximum coupon discounts)
    • Item Coupon + Draw Shop Coupon (if applicable) @ Item Page
    • Cart Coupon + Use Shop Coupon (if applicable) @ Shopping Cart Page
    • Qpoints + Q-money @ Place Order Page
    • 10 Green MameQ = 10 Qpoints
  3. Spin Roulette-Q upon order
  4. Get MameQ from Email ("[Qoo10] Your payment has been completed.‏") upon order
  5. Catch Mamemons here
  6. Delay a day after receiving item to get another MameQ through Email ("[Qoo10]Be rewarded by acknowledging delivery‏")
  7. Review all items after receiving it (Gain - MameQ / Qpoints)

  8. Read all T&C for any promotions/events

Gosh, everyone here seem to be going around in circles with the qoo10 points 6 months expiry thing. Think @denial86 reported previously that they had enquired and gotten feedback from the CSOs:

1) The points redemption is first in first out.
2) Technically points which you got before 16 Feb still has 2 years validity period
3) New points garnered after 16 Feb has only 6 months validity

In the general scope of things, if you have something like 20K points now and don't forsee yourself being able to finish up all the points within 6 months, you can just forget about partaking in those get points events etc since the new points you get now will most likely expire before you can utilise them.

In essence, qoo10 has cripped the points garnering ability of the avid qoo10 points hoaders who are saving to offset for big purchases.

But is "first in first out" logic, means better make sure your 2yr validity clear within 6months also so that the points acquired from 16th feb onwards won't expire before u get to use them anyway.

So essentially.. It really doesn't make much of a difference haha.

Qpoints can be used up to 30% of the total order amount OR 10% of your total Qpoints subjected to which is the lower.


For example, you have total of 18,888 Qpoints in your account and you bought an item @ $28.80;

30% of item price =$8 (rounded down to the nearest dollar)
10% of your total Qpoints = 1800 (rounded down to nearest 100 units)

So in this case, you can only use 800 Qpoints to offset your purchase not 1800.
