Recommendations for fridges

Hi I would like to buy a fridge with width less than 65cm and top freezer. Any recommendation? Thanks a lot!

Lotsa brands have top freezer 2 doors fridge less than 60cm in width. I'm currently using LG GTB3127PZ.

nowadays fridge after 1 yr will start to have problems, my panasonic and hitachi suffer same fate

I am not using but was looking at buying it too, cos it is quite big 620 litres. Rose gold/ brown gold colour also with the nice.

Twin cooling so air doesn't flow from one to the other and bring smell (from freezer to fridge and vice versa). At least that's what their marketing says.

i don't like to use the ice in the freezer, the ice normally absord all the smell from the freezer stuff if you don't use often.

if i want cold drinks, i just put in fridge to cold without using ice.

Agreed. Smell will flow through to ice.

Some sales reps say that they have customers who wash the ice before drinking to remove smell. Dunno if they works or not but a workaround if you do use the ice maker inbuilt dispenser

Most important for this kind of design is get those without the vertical bar at center. It reduced the effective storage space and size of item you can put inside.

Considering LG GT-T3867PZ, Samsung RT43K6037SL, Fisher & Paykel RF440TRPW6, Panasonic NR-BX468XSS1, Mitsubishi MR F47EG to replace old fridge. Looking at around net 400L and efficient fridge. My previous Sanyo and Toshiba all around 10 years so hope to use next fridge for 10 years too,

@chocolate&cookies @pineapplek @canbedone and any other users can share on the Samsung and other models experience/reliability?

Have been using Samsung fridge since 2000, just recently gave a bit of problems esp. the freezer making noise. Quite durable almost 18 years . .

Just bought Panasonic NR-BX468XSS1 to try out.

Forget about Samsung. Bought RT53k6257 and there is ice built up at the cooling vent for the fridge(not freezer) compartment.

Never encountered this issue with my previous Panasonic
