Anyone has review for 6 doors fridge? I'm looking at Panasonic,Hitachi n Mitshibushi. Seems like only these 3 brands have it.
So which one did you get?
Any advice on 6 door fridge as I'm now looking at HITACHI RSF45GS-SN, HITACHI RG520GS-XW, PANASONIC NRF510GT-W6.

Just like to share my experience with all should you be considering to purchase a samsung fridge. My firdge broke down within one month plus and sasung could not fix or replace it after two weeks. Below is my email correspondence with them
To whom it may concerns,
Please note attached details of my fridge. We have purchased a side by side fridge by Samsung recently and was deeply shocked when it started giving us problems within one month plus and I believe this could have been resolved earlier but sadly it required this email to document the issue.
1. We first notice the fridge producing a knocking sound occationally and called the customer line to report it. However the rep told us we need to record it before a technician comes down! Can you imagine your customer standing beside the fridge waiting for the sound and recording it. We were told it was the fridge normal mechanism when it adjust the temperature, hence we happily used it.
2. Unfortunately it was not the case and the fridge broke down completely, upon calling in we were told the technican can only come days later to have a look at it. We had just bought $100+ of weekly grocerries and had to dispose of it since fridge was not working. The technician came and to my surprise he only diagnose the problem! there was no parts and he had to come back. To add injury to insult, I had to call the call centre to arrange for annother appointment.
3. I had called the rep and informed them of my displeasure and a need for a backup fridge since my family requires one for our daily usage. She told me one will be arranged and they will arrange for the technician to come and fix asa, which he did but the problem was unresolved and no news of a back up fridge.
4. I had to call the customer rep to request for it to be expidited and have yet to hear from her.
I''m sure everyone along the line have done their part but I''m deeply disturbed that there have been so many lapse along the way. It has been a waste of time and money for my family since we had to dump our grocerries and eat out everyday while we wait for a response. I''ve told my sis who just got a new home to NEVER buy a samsung fridge based on my experience.
Appreciate your help and support to look into this matter.

thanks for the head-up.
EuropAce been doing offer....that time side by side fridge only $900+ but 1 tick.
this 1 look decent price...but like panasonic, 1 of my worries tho...the dtc easy spoil...
what is no frost?
my fridge used for 15 years..defrost timer spoiled once...
but now the plate crack...
the NEA tick is not accurate 1... i see the power consumption.
EuropAce ER 752Q (side by side) Annual Energy Cost $207
EuropAce ER 6401S Annual Energy Cost $121
People suggest avoid hitachi,LG,panasonic, currently my shortlist is europace and mitsubishi... dunnoe whether can gamble on europace![]()
Europace side by side qoo10 selling sgd690 now, offer until Sunday
Nowadays the ticks have been changed, many products even Mitsubishi fridge maybe 2 ticks only
![]()
most of the fridges I shortlisted were 3 ticks, even those sub $1K model, but I looking at Jap brands mostly. Is it still the case that many fridges come with only 2 ticks nia?
wongminmin so which brand of fridge did chiu finally get? Besides air-con, i'm also looking to get a small fridge as I alr have a big one..

btw the NEA ticks are for efficiency, don't be silly and compare a 500L fridge vs a 300L and think both 1 ticks means same total power consumption and say NEA not accurate![]()
I rather go for Midea than Europace anytime. I have a Midea washer for 2 years, and still working very well.
I had a Europace air filter that worked for 8 months only.
I think for large white goods, better to get reputable brands. For Europace’s price range, IMO, I would go for Midea, at least there are a large manufacturer in PRC for white goods

where is the best place to buy fridges?
Why you need dual inverter in the first place?
For me, I chose to focus more on the warranty coverage aspect. Get the cheapest fridge, then max out the extended warranty to 5yrs.
Sharp has plenty of models that are value for money. Personally would've went with Panasonic but their price at competing capacity was out of budget. Didnt like Mitsubishi's layout. If wanted Korean, I would still go LG ahead of Samsung. Personally I'm not a fan of Samsung's white goods even though my current MIK Samsung fridge is 8yrs old.
Find out the lowest price (Lucky, Mustafa, GAB, Everjoint) for the specific model you want to buy, then go to big box store and get them to lower/pricematch and buy their EW.
hi, ur last point is good tips. but whats EW?
