I always find redmi note/pro model has better quality and functionality than Mi series and at cheaper price.
Diff class and specs
Cannot compare them

Mi series is upper range
Redmi is mid range

So long your bootloader is unlocked, and have TWRP recovery installed, u can flash this via TWRP regardless of rom installed.
Good but then it needs to be flashed through recovery. The stock recovery of Miui can not be used for flashing. It needs twrp. Unless the boot logo is created in img format then you may be able to flash it through fastboot with "./fastboot flash logo logo.img". I have not tried it in Miui so not too sure if it works. If it works, it will give Miui users (with unlocked bootloader) an option of having a custom boot logo. That will be nice.

Mediatek chip for pro model. Don't fall for the gimmick.. mediatek often lack updates and hard to have custom rom also.

Is the Pro model very popular? Seems like it is sold out in many places.

Is 6+128GB model online exclusive? Only saw 8+128GB in retail shops.
I cant comment popular anot as the crowd even lesser than poco f3 i feel
Mayb their stocks are low
Pro model has better cam and processor and price is low so attract more buyers

I dun think 6gb is online exclusive
Probably u can find some in carousell?
For now 6gb from shopee xiaomi official is 369 i think, no voucher currently
Top up 10 or 20 more can get 8gb alr

I just tried that. Yes it works on Miui.

Download flashable_logo.zip by takagen and copy the logo.img to the adb directory (sdk platform tool). Boot the phone to bootloader mode and execute "./fastboot flash logo logo.img" in Pc. Give it a try for those with unlock bootloader. Logo is nice.

Any recommendation for Note 10 casing? Bought a cheap one at Shopee, is quite soft when compared with Spigen casing, Thanks

You looking for casing with PC (hard material) at the middle & TPU (soft material) on the edges? Currently I have 2 such casing with different designs from Shopee. Example of 1 such design:

Yup, those familiar with fastboot can flash it that way too.
fastboot flash logo logo.img
fastboot reboot

Glad you like it.
Probably can give me some ideas what other boot logo to create :D

https://www.google.com/amp/s/goodyfeed.com/charge-smartphone-battery/amp/

Anyone subscribe to the idea that charging HP to 100% will hurt the battery and optimum level is 80% as what mentioned in different websites such as this for example?
I wont bother abt the 80%
Typically 1 person will change phone in abt 2-3yrs, some 1yr change alr, some even 6-9mths
All the phones i have owned, i always charge 100% and i have no problem using 2-3yrs
Yes battery will become worst but it has reached the time to change phone alr
Unless u have the intention to use same phone for 4-5yrs then u can follow the trend by charging to 80%
Otherwise why waste ur time by keeping track of the charging % :o

Is urs the transparent type? Does it have raised edges for the camera cut-out in order to protect the camera lenses? Cos I think the one that is provided with the phone in the retail box doesn't have...

Found that the raised edges are rather soft. In the event of any drop, it might give in. Will prefer simple design. Thanks
