me sell 8/128 .ya i know is virtual sensor that no software can fix.and also cant turning off..

anybody knows if it's MIUI 12 problem or generally a xiaomi issue that you cannot batch delete contacts? currently have to tap the contact > tap upper right corner 3 dots >delete, which is damn leh ceh.

Searched on youtube, apparently there was an option to batch delete under system apps > contacts but it was for MIUI 11.

Solved. Load in new video playing app (VLC) and update to 12.5.8 and it's alive again. Thanks.
Btw which apps are you guys using to play video? VLC, MX player or others?

Quite unlikely. Most possible case is a customised MIUI for Redmi, just like Poco phones uses MIUI for POCO.

anybody use the colornote app here? i realized when i set the note reminder to "pin to status bar". it will be there, but once i kill all apps - the reminder on the status bar will disappear.

my previous xiaomi 9T phone not like that one leh. even if i kill all apps, the reminder will still be displayed on status bar.

i went to the app settings and have set allow everything. actually it's already alllow all notifications or something.

anybody else experienced this issue? how to go about doing it?

I use colornote too but don't use its notification feature.

However my accubattery though locked, after closing all in background, the notification also disappear.

Reopen the accubattery, the lock icon auto there still and the notification comes back.

same thing with my colornote. like what kottty mentioned, you have to lock the app so when you close all apps, only accubattery is still there. lock the app by pressing the square, then long hold on that app and a few icons will appear - there's a lock, press it and voila, your notification will still be there

alarm bug or not ?
my rn10p ( miui 12.5.8 ) when turned off alarm set will switch itself on 6 mins before the alarm. same scenario, rn8pro 8 mins before the alarm. other older Xiaomi mobiles 1 min before the alarm which is normal. the two mobiles alarms ring at the scheduled time, it's just that they will turn on much earlier when turned off.
