Which did you have your rct done?I have done two implant. One of the implant is a replacement for the root canal. The root canal has been there for 7 years and then it start to cause infection nearby.
The are cases of failure in rct especially when canal is not cleaned well especially inside the deeper end of the root or for other reasons.
Most cases, retreatment can be done. Some cases, retreatment didnt help.
In your case, if rct has failed multiple times or the structure becomes too week, next thing to do is implants.
Even though rct, if done well, has above 90% chance of long-term success, one will never know why exactly cases can go wrong.
Fortunately, the lastest irrigation using laser has proven to clean the canal thoroughly using bubbling effects, even the hardest, furthest parts of the roots. Find a dental with laser irrigation will definitely a good choice. Laser also can disinfect tissues and kill bacterias underneath your gums.
