The power connector issue was actually user fault. They either never plug in the adapter fully or they bent(because squeeze inside small case) the adapter cable until it stressed the connector.

Yes, all 4090 comes with the 12vhpwr adapter though there might be a difference of 3 or 4 PCIe depending on the model you buy. If you worry about the adapter then alternative is to use native 12vhpwr cable by getting an atx 3.0 psu.

At 4k, your consideration should really be 4080 vs 4090.
