I notice there is some lagging when viewing photos (mostly 5 megapixels, around 1.2 MB) in Gallery, as in the photos will first appear blur and then become sharp. I have turned off all background apps n cleared RAM however the lagging is still there. Is this a known issue? My nokia pureview 808 and ipad do not have such lagging when viewing the same photos.

Can i check what microSD card you using?

Is there a way to change the skin of Samsung keyboard to mske the keys bigger? I don't want to switch to switchkey3 or other cos I use tge stylus as well?

The email client theme of Note 2 is too dark for my liking. Is there any way to change it as well?

hi guys i have 2 questions,

first, anyone's battery diminishing very quickly? I'm using nova launcher, do you think that will affect it drastically? Because mine went from about a 24-30 hour use per charge to about 14-16 hour use per charge

secondly anyone here using tasker? I can't seem to get mine to work, following all the guides. I tried doing smth simple like "turn on wifi at - 11:01 am" doesn't work! I really like tasker and would like to learn how to fix it

It actually means the keyboard is "on".

Nothing much really... somethings a pop out message arrives and we reply and close, the keyboard is still "active", thus the logo....

It will appear only when you are using the keyboard or when keyboard is shown.Example in sms mode, you using the keyboard to type a sms, it will show you the keyboard as well as the icon on the top left corner. Once you dismissed the keyboard, it will go away

Voice Command

Hi Note 2 users

Have anyone used the incoming voice 'answer' and 'reject' commands? Mine's function keeps disappearing after a while and have to restart to get it to work. Is this a bug inherent in this function?

I notice that browsing through my gallery, the scrolling/ flicking from one photo to the next can take quite a while for the image to be fully rendered clearly. It's like flicking through 5-6 pics and the next few will take quite a while to process.

The other thing i notice is that this is especially bad when there are faces in the pictures and the face detection is at work. Is there a way to turn the face detection off during playback?

I'm also facing the same issue...

The photos are stored in your microsd card or built in memory? What class of microsd card u using? I guess browsing those stored in built in memory will not have lagging or rendering issue. More likely due to the formatting of the microsd card. As for the face detection i believe there's a way to remove that feature. I'm a newbie for android phone so need some time to explore the new os.

Ok, i just learnt how to remove face tagging, once you in the photo, hit the soft menu button and off face tagging.

However, still doesnt solve my choppy browsing on gallery. I using external sd card 32gb class 10. Abit disappointed given the specs of the phone. My old phone flipping through pics much smoother than this.
