Test it simba 10gbps Tp link hb710 with the inbuild speedtest software. The speed only reach 5-6gbps. Is that mean the broadband doesn't running at full speed?
I believe this is the limitation of the CPU used in HB710 (Qualcomm IPQ5322 or IPQ5332 as per the teardown picture posted in this forum). It cannot handle 10Gbps when using the OOkla Speedtest utility, even though it can handle 10Gbps Internet plan. The real speed from SIMBA may well be higher.
You may need to get a 10G capable network card for your computer if you really want to be able to test the speed. I bought one 10G PCIe network adapter for my desktop, and three 10G TB4/TB3/USB4 network adapters for my Mac Mini M1 and laptops. The lower cost 10G TB4/TB3/USB4 network adapter from Taobao is about S$100 to S$140. Branded ones are much more expensive.
BTW, TP-Link EB810v or Archer BE800 have the faster flagship grade Qualcomm IPQ9570/9574 CPU which should be able to get the more accurate speed.
Another thing: max speed for local ISPs' 10Gbps plan is about 8.2x Gbps, due to the limitations of the XGS-PON technology used.
