Building your own got more satisfaction. You get more control.
Used to be a hobby to play with hardware and software. Not my interest to go deep anymore, though still very interested with 3C. So I’d rather spend me time on what I like to do. Haha.

What's a "credible" VPN service? How would you know it's "credible" and remains so?
No credible ones. Everyone aways boast how safe and good they are. The thing is, you already signed up with your email, they got a few details about you, how you surf the net.

Always just believe in yourself.

Hi, i bought a $10 lucky number from SIMBA on the $10 plan, so if i want to port out this number, need to pay 2nd month bill, and port out after 30 days is over. That is all right?

The 5G data is so slow in the west, feels like 4G, less than 10Mbps down and up.

Not so simple.

Read Section 9.9 here.
https://www.simba.sg/terms
I see, so meaning the price i paid of $10 is only 50%, and i need to go down and pay the other 50%, another $10, before i can even apply to port out. On top of the monthly bill of $10. So meaning just to get this lucky number and port out, pay like $40 total :ROFLMAO:

No way to just do this payment online? I dont want to go down to their service center leh

Specifically Section 9.9 point b:

All Lucky mobile numbers are sold at a discount of 50% (unless otherwise specifically stated for special promotions), and the price that you pay is after the discount is applied. The discount is provided on the condition that you continue with a valid mobile plan with SIMBA for a period of 24 months from the activation of the Lucky mobile number). The discounted amount will be chargeable to you if you request for porting-out or your mobile plan is terminated for any reason whatsoever, before the expiry of the period of 24 months from the activation of the Lucky mobile number.

Apparently not. And payment via PayNow at their counter where they'll show you the QR code.

But that's last year and before, so you might want to contact them to see if you can pay without looking at their faces.

I bought a lucky number a few months back and ported out without any penalty. However I did write to them to confirm 1st which they did. Suggest you write them also to make sure. Good luck!

Back then only these 2 places.

Ya, email them and keep us posted. (y)

They generic answer, never say anything about the lucky number itself

I suggest you reply them again and specifically ask about the lucky number penalty, if any. The final reply I got from Simba was:

Thank you for your reply.

Upon checking your mobile account, you have already paid the full price of the lucky number last 06 December 2025.

Please see attached screenshot of your initial registration invoice.
