Wanted to switch my mother's ST prepaid to the $5 monthly plan but cannot directly convert unfortunately.
So I just got one S$15 SIM Card from the above SingTel Prepaid Shopee shop.
1) I can confirm this is a Prepaid service.
2) It can not be used with the new SingTel Hi! App. It can only work with the existing SingTel hi! Prepaid App.
3) After initial activation, only 100GB data were given. Supposely the extra benefits will come in three working days. Let's see.
4) As of now, it cannot connect to SingTel 5G, only 4G LTE-A now.
5) 4G speed is not bad though.
Tested using Poco X7 Phone

Lol you work harder on this than Singtel execs sia. This rollout like tdcFor the S$12/S$10 hi! monthly 4G plans and S$5 hi! Senior 4G plan, right now only eSIM is available from the online links provided by SingTel hi! Website.
Supposely the authorized dealers will also start to offer physical SIM cards. But then I have checked with the three dealers at Jurong Point, none of them have things in stock.
You may check with SingTel Prepaid hotline at 1800-482-2800, which operates daily from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm, to see if any shops offer them now.

Oh sorry, it's like -> they don't care.Sorry but what does "tdc" mean here.
50+ year old man here so don't understand some of this type of acronyms. Google does not help too much in this case...

so I was correct? old $15 or new $15, the end results will be the same?
IMHO.
This 5G+ is just regular 5G and not the Singtel 5G+ Priority or 5G+ Enhanced right ?
it's the same bro.No.
As per SingTel Shop Jurong Point guys, the S$15 SIM they have now only has 150GB, no 500GB.
I am also surprised by the validity until 30 May 2026, which exceed the usual 180 day limit.
it's the same bro.
I purchased singtel hi prepaid plans for a friend many times. there was the usual $15 plan, and from time to time, there was also promotional $15 with extra bonus. i asked my friend if i should purchase the promotional one for him, he said no, he wanted the usual plan. so i bought the usual plan for him, and after a while the extra bonuses were also added.
IMHO.That should be correct.
The S$15.28 SingTel SIM Only recontract offer is also the same, only 5G+, not 5G+ Enhanced.
IMHO.
I guess have to pay premium if want to have the other two.![]()
IMHO.Yes.
BTW, SingTel Prepaid also has 5G+ Enhanced, if you are willing to top up S$35 or S$40.
No 5G+ Priority for SingTel Prepaid.
Reference -- previously the top-up (4G) was very exepensive and for very littel data like 1GB/2.5GB, but now prepaid top-up also gives you lots of data, albeit not at a good price, more for occassional or short-term use case.

I go to the Singtel website, but can no longer find the link that points to the Hi! prepaid sim card. But still accessible through the link u posted.Singel now has three apps for mobile service users.
1) MySingtel app --> Normal Singtel services, including Fibre Broad Band, Singtel Mobile (with devices or SIM Only), Singtel TV, etc.
2) Singtel hi! Prepaid app --> for the traditional Singtel prepaid services

I go to the Singtel website, but can no longer find the link that points to the Hi! prepaid sim card.
Going to mobile-prepaid
points to the Singtel Hi sim card. Which is suppose to be postpaid if I am not wrong.
Whats happening?
Oh, no wonder. Very confusing. The $!2 and $5 hi card plan is postpaid. But they put it under the prepaid link.1. The following SingTel hi! website now contains Prepaid and PostPaid plans managed by SingTel Prepaid Team.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/hi
1) The S$15 hi! 5G+ plan is Prepaid as per IMDA classification and still uses the old SingTel hi! Prepaid app. The Tourist SIM/eSIMs are also prepaid as per IMDA classification.
2) The S$12/S$10 hi! Month Plans and the S$5 hi! Senior plan are Postpaid as per IMDA classification. They are 4G only plans as of now. They use the new SingTel Hi! App. Heya users are also migrated to Singtel hi! Monthly plan and use the new SingTel Hi! App.
2. The older SingTel Prepaid plan page is still there. But the S$8 SIM Card seems to be out of stock. The S$15 SIM Card is the same as the SingTel hi! 5G+ SIM mentioned above.

3. I guess SingTel will clean up the old websites progressively.
