I try taking melatonin but don't really work after a while. Anyone like that also? Any suggestion?

Oh ya, try taking magnesium.

Melatonin is more of a sleep-regulating hormone, personally don't dare take any medicine affect the hormone.

And don't put your smartphone near your sleeping area, i notice ever since i put my smartphone somewhere further, my sleep had improved.

Fully recommend this.

Only Magnesium Bisglycinate can truly assist in sleep.

Recently for the past few months, I also keep having sleeping problems. Like I can’t get into deep sleep mode or I will wake up in the middle of the night then very difficult to get back into sleep. Maybe it’s anxiety or work stress or getting old. I was quite bothered by this as it’s affecting my work in the day.

Then I went to see my usual GP and he prescribed me zopiclone. I tried taking half tablet before sleep, this helps but I scare will get addicted.

So I went to find some things that will help and I found this Labo Nutrition Sleep DR. It contains Glycine, natural GABA and L-theanine and 1 sachet before sleep helps me sleep better at night too.

I try don’t take any of these on Fridays and Saturdays night as I don’t want to be too reliant on them.

Sounds like a aimless rich man problem. Not tired enough from everyday work. No stress from work. No need to take care of aged parents. No need to take care of kids....

Get a girlfriend and you should get tired much more and fall asleep easily. Girlfriend became wife, more busy with buying properties, buying cars, then have few babies, have to wake up 3 times every night to feed babies...all your insomnia problem resolved.

Thank me later.
Think of if from another perspective.
Other than taking care of aged parents, the rest of the problem are created by yourself indirectly. In chinese is called 自找麻烦

It's a choice ts has to take. Continue breathing in air and sleepless or make himself more useful and his life more meaningful.

Usually they can prescribe Valium for chronic insomnia. If cannot sleep then it’s the only medication that will help. It’s better to get it treated early rather than delaying until terminal insomnia which is much worse
Sound like it's for v serious condition. I at least still can sleep for a few hours, not completely can't sleep. thanks for sharing, will check with doctor on it's suitability if I see.

1) Buy yourself a comfy mattress, bedsheet and blanket
2) Make the room cooler
3) Put on an eye mask or make the room darker
4) No meals 3-4 hours before sleep
5) Regular exercises can help
6) Free your mind
7) In the day, do not sit or laze on the bed
8) Read a book
All good except a few. 4) i eat dinner at 7+ after work, feel sleepy at 8+ 9pm. 7) I have no chance to do that on weekday. 8) I haven't read a book for years lol.

Only way to eat clean is to cook/prepare yourself. Steaming food is pretty easy and fast. Besides vegetables, steamed salmon and beef ( marinated with a bit of light soy sauce) actually taste quite good and clean.
Yes, I like to try out new recipes. But not easy to cook after work on weekday. by the time i get home, it's late evening...

I find Korean ginseng helps. You can get those easy to drink tubes, around 5ml each. Take it 1-2 hours before bedtime. It helps me sleep more soundly. But it’s a bit heaty so you have to eat more fruits and drink more water.
Where to buy? Have a brand that you recommend? I get sore throat quite easily. Think can't take every day?
