[Temperature] CPU & GPU idle & load running temp - Please share here!!

room temp at night without aircon, except for standing fan beside me on speed 1.
Probably 26-28 deg
H100i on max rpm

fixed cpu clock at 4.5ghz for testing
Full load - 69deg - 80 deg
Idle - 40-45 deg

Looks quite normal. Think a friend of mine with same or similar cpu with H100i also is getting similar temperature readings like yours.

Your CPU idle temp is even better.

GPUs' idle temp is good because I have 2x 120mm fans blowing directly at them (plse see pic below). They use to idle at low 40Cs. As for CPU, all along the idle temps have been low, I only wish that their load temps were lower. I'm used to high GPU temps since I use the PC mainly for gaming, but I'm surprised how the CPU temp can get so high at load - but its only in Crysis 3 (and of course during stress testing scenarios).

I did the tests at 26C aircon, its a 'middle ground' between 24C (when weather is very hot) and 28C (when I use PC late at nite/in the morning).

Nice setup! So you running with a open case? Or is there a clear acrylic?

Dear friend,

NOTE : Please ALWAYS indicate your ambient / room temperature that those readings are taken.

What matters is "how many degC above the room temp" than actual temperature readings.

Thanks bro. No, it has a side panel with a meshed window (I removed it to take pic of interior).

The GPUs used to idle at low 40Cs, only after I installed the 2 side fans that temp lowered to low 30Cs. Last time I used aircon at 24C but now its at 26-28C (after the aircons were cleaned thoroughly). I guess non-blower type cooler GPUs dispel hot air into the case, that's why the 2 side fans really helped to disperse the hot air and lower the GPUs' temps.

Your gfx card has 3 fan, so adding fans on the side does help.

But for gfx card is this design :

Add fan liao, also doesn't really lower the temperature much.

Yes bro it does get dust-clogged after some time that's why I take out and use vacuum cleaner on it every 3 months or so. You can see from here:

Yes, my GPUs have non-ref coolers (as below) that's why they expel hot air into the case instead of outside it. Your GPU pic is using the reference "blower" cooler, its a more "enclosed" design so blowing air towards its side probably couldn't help much.

with a game on (Diablo 3) , it can go up to 98deg
gpu temp is good at 30-40 deg

Using the Asus Maximus IV Gene Z+ i5 2500k @ 3.3 ghz , overclocked to 4.2ghz
Corsair H80i High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

no issue for the past half year.. has my liquid cooler gone dead? Anyway to confirm this?

Unmount the cooler. Check of the thermal paste have been dried up? If not check your pump whether is it running.
