Everything on stock, idle temps.

Kinda high huh. Ambient temp is 32 degrees celcius.

Hi guys,

New to this thread.

Here are my quick details:

CPU: Load 90C
Idle 50C

GPU: Load 80C
Idle 45C

These figures should be ok right? Maybe the CPU is a little on the warm side for load but should not be a problem right? They say max temp is 105C for the i5-2500k.

yes 90c is on the high side... IMO idle ~40c and load ~70c (stock HS, ambient 30c)

i5-2500K Tj. Max is 98°C, which the cores can reach before thermal throttling is activated. The processor shuts itself off in order to prevent permanent damage.

GPU, 39deg

BF4 load
CPU, 59deg

With stock HSF and the casing you using, the temperature are quite ok.

With normal casing and after market HSF, my cpu temp is about ambient + 8 degC and gfx temp is about ambient + 13degC.

but should be still safe right?

Ups for only Intel Heatsink Overclocking results of 4.2ghz @ 1.180v.

On Prime95 Small FTT which stresses the FPU and brings the CPU to its max temps.

Never run prime95 as I am using a locked cpu. My com is at the living room where there is no air con.

I would say that this is very good temperature readings.

Ambient 29deg+-?

Don't like the idea of my gpu fans not spinning thus enabled the fan control.

No idea why my SSD higher temp than HDD. Even if I swap them around still the same. :(

My room temp is also about 29'C, maybe warmer.

Yah, Samsung harddisk runs very cool. See picture below.

Your cpu and gfx card temperature are both very good. If you want the harddisk to run cooler, install new fans to blow at your harddisk.

That is what I did.
