Agent told me that I either choose afternoon sunlight, or rubbish chute.
So there is no good choice. And I actually make choice mainly based on room layout, level and size.

My current HDB has similar afternoon sunlight (not 90 degree direct hit, only 30-40 degree angle), it is not that bad.
Especially for lower storeies, the oppt building will block the sunlights afer 3-4PM.
Stack 3 is difficult to sell because it is directly facing afternoon sunlight, only suitable for people prefer bright rooms. I suppose developer will offer a better price for these units .

I think stack 28 has no afternoon sun or rubbish chute

absd and the reserved amount in cpf for 2nd property set us back as well. At the end, we just go for EC, while we are still within the cap limit.

I think HDB or EC is a gift from government, as they are discounted market rate, that as Sporean should grab one of them. :s13:

HDB & especially an EC is definitely a discounted assets from govt & to eligible Sporean.

I would say BS & V both on par as both having same amenities nearby, walk-able distance to future Canberra Mall & MRT station. Pricing & size are secondary as the bigger area, the higher price.

Nov 2016, BS left 21% units & mostly are too small(80sqf), without yard, no storeroom etc (all your toiletries keep where?) Which now makes V more appealing to potential buyers as having 57% units available to chose from.

As for architectural design, the V layout is 2 straight blocks, looks neat & modernize compare to BS which resembles HDB layout & abit cluttered.

Oh, one more thing to add on, V's underground carpark!
- Driver's won't have to everyday drive round & round when going out for work or coming back
- when it rains, u have to walk from multi-storey back to your unit
- or worst when u bought groceries? gotta drive up to multi-storey carpark, take lift down, carry all the way back to your unit.

But in V, drive or when taking taxi can straight drive into underground carpark, to your stack & take lift up! Don't even need to see the sun =P

For smart feature i felt its only a plus. Without also can get it off-the-shelf. So if you keen to get V, opt out for the smart tech, u can have $6500-$8000 less off.

Hope above helps & happy viewing...

I second these 2 points. I missed BS launch so it was between V and PL for me. The car park is essential since even DBSS has 'basement' car parks so it would be an inconvenience to have to walk to the MSCP without shelter.

Good review. :s12:
At this moment, there is no much choices from BS already. For me, Visionaire definitely much better than BS in the following area (very subjective):
- overall layout. No offend, but Visionaire just look like a condo with underground carpark, while BS look like an enclosed HDB, cluttered layout and classic multi storey carpark.
- overall floor plan. BS has a very long corridor at least for 4rm type. To me, it means floor plan not optimized, but someone else might like it.
- overall facility. V has a lot more variety rather than typical swimming pool, tennis court and gym, ie music, library, pool table etc.
- balcany. V balcany is without side wall, you have full 180 panoramic view if you bought the good view unit. BS some (if not all) has side wall, you only have 90Deg view technically.

It's the only gift to the 'sandwich-class' from the government. Otherwise, it's pay and pay as usual.
Ok de lah... Pay & pay in the end still our asset mah.. want $ just sell it to convert back to cash lor...
Fully make use the cpf fund since the only reason to be touchable. :)

Same here too..
BS suppose my 1st choice but the time i went in, the leftover units facing, size & carpark drove me away...
Emphasize again, a home without storeroom, where to stock your toiletries? Duno wat CDL thinking, allow to have such a flaw.
