Hi, we were in the same situation as u. Looking at C5 either facing Brownstone or greenery. We decided on facing greenery in the end, even though it's more expensive, because we value the facing more, we do not like to face other developments.

It really depends on what u value for ur house. West sun is inevitable, I don't think stack 48 can block that much (maybe only a bit for master bedroom since the sun is slanted). You can go and see at the actual site before deciding because they have already built up the blocks. To us, there r many ways arnd west sun but u cannot change ur unit view. But it's really up to what u prefer.

that is our conclusion too! which stack did you end up choosing?

Samsung appliances

Anyone concerned with the project using Samsung appliances? With the recent many accidents with regards to Samsung products.

With DPS at NPS price is probably already about 3k discount depending on your purchase price. I dint get anything else from developer, only minor rebate from my agent.

DPS & NPS differences cud be ard $20K-$35K.
Purchase price $800K
NPS will be $800K
DPS will be $824K.

The 24k more is because the developer charge you for DPS option, and i believe very seldom people will opt for this option. But if you consider DPS at NPS pricing, you probably only get 3-4k "discount" because it is progressive payment.

Assuming you paid 30% 1 year earlier at 1.5% under NPS scheme, it is about $3.6k for 800k house saving if you are DPS at NPS pricing instead.

Bellewood EC at Woodlands has 2 actual flats for viewing both at level 4 3premium & 4rm with ID. Went there to have a feel of the actual unit since same developer as The Visionaire. The layout of the block is same as Visionaire ie 4 units per block. Rubbish chute is covered by a door just beside the lift and next to the 4rm unit. Landscapeing looks ok too.

Not say its wrong.

For others who are new, confused or havent bought any property before, in short DPS is additional 3% on purchase price.

Those who no choice have to use DPS has several reasons & 1 of the typical reason is currently still servicing housing loan & want to get an EC.

Their cpf deduction currently maximised so no more extra to deduct the next property unless they cleared their outstanding loan. Got it.
