yup because of MAS ruling. Any free gifts etc, aside from a straight out discount from purchase price, needs to be declared and it will be stated in your sale and purchase agreement.

dunno what's the intent behind the ruling, maybe to prevent the sticker price from being over-inflated and then reduced through rebates, vouchers or gifts?

The most recent case of an attempt to play with MAS ruling was Gem Residences. Developers got rapped on the knuckles.

I don't think the Tab will entice anyone .. but PL dangling vouchers worth thousands. That will be a minor shock later for some buyers.

Yah.. went Parc Life showflat before... Their pricing are attractive on psf & those "rebates" but later when buyer take up loan they will see the true colour...

I had check with my banker. The samsung tab is really a gift and not we 'pay' for it. When you sign the OTP there is 1 form showing the free gift samsung tab worth $150. This must be declare according to MAS to prevent developer from throwing huge cashback discount like absorbing resale levy etc to help those borderline cases (May not able to loan the amount they wanted)

The accident happens in Visionaire. All the work has been ordered to stop for investigation. Hope his family will get a proper compensation. RIP
