Thanks Grix! I'm looking at Stack 13 because I'm going for the main pool view - I'm choosing between 3/5/7 floors. My parents stay at this area hence this development is one I really hope to buy.

On the point that higher floor usually get more exposure to noise, is this from your experience? Track noise is my concern. I don't mind swimming pool noise because activities stop after 10pm.

Also, if choosing between these three levels (3/5/7 floors), which do you feel would offer the best pool view / pool feel?

Know that preferences vary but hope to get a general guidance. Excited to be choosing a unit soon. Thanks for the help! :)

Welcome!

Middle cluster is probably best. For pool view, 5th to 7th floor would be good, 3rd or 4th still okay. Any particular stack or type?

Stack 45 and 13 is definitely the best for pool view for c6.

Hi Potential neighbour!!

I stay at the 6th at my current place and can hear the train although if I were to compare that to my mum's at the 10th floor, hers is way louder. And I'm about 100m or less away from the mrt track.

Also, if you choose a 3rd floor pool facing unit, the likelihood of hearing noises is of course louder. Another thing to note is if you're choosing a 3rd floor, there is a likelihood that there might be trees grown outside that might block your view. So if you want a good pool view, I'd say 5th floor is pretty decent. Don't think they'll grow such big and tall trees to block everyone else's view. Just my opinion. :)

Just went to hear the track noise again. Strongly advise to get stacks at the back 2/3 of the project. The back 1/3 will be better.
Another thing to note that there will be helicopter noise. Heard 2x in a span of less than 10mins. It's those big ones with double rotors.

I can imagine Parc Life being much worse.

Similarly, I was told that Punggol will get more of aircraft noise because of Seletar airport landing area. Sengkang not so bad. This is based on 2nd hand info.

Yap. at visionaire. i stood at the pavement 'next to' stack 43. the road is very bisy at 5pm but I can still hear the train. my spouse went at 8+pm. surroundings quiet so the mrt noise is more audible.
the helicopter was at 5pm. and they do fly pretty low :slant:

You really go down and do detail research!
My current place is near the new EC site NorthWave.
I just hear at least 2 aircrafts fly over 10 mins ago.
Anyway staying here for > 10 yrs, helicopters or shaking window grills doesn't really bother me. But i din know the helicopters fly all the way to Visionaire site.

That's the 4 bedroom stack. D1 right? What about stacks that are further in away from the track? Stack 54?

Helicopter probably won't be that frequent?

Northoaks / Woodsvale that side right? Then we are quite near! I see helicopters but I don't hear them at all.

Stacks right at end are def ok. I stood at the entrance both during the day and night. Can hardly hear the train.
The helicopters were flying right abv the ec.
My ideal unit would be 54 but budget constraint. Wana be loan free asap. I'm looking at stack 21 but not accessible. So used stack 43 as a guage.

Got to. Cuz I'm forgoing my current centralised located unit for an ec in the outskirts. Must make sure I won't regret. I didn't do enough when I bought my current unit. So kana slanted west sun and right in front of bus stop. Don't wish to make the same mistake again.

Stack 21 is 3 bedroom premium. Also a lot of different stacks. Stack 5 is also quite far away from the track. But then again, even if far still got helicopter right? Is it that frequent?

That's quite cool!

Sounds pretty noisy on your side. Then you'll look forward to the peace at your new EC?

Nope not noisy. My Window usually are closed. My new EC got bigger aircraft flying over and I will be on higher floor. Not sure can hear or not with windows closed.

Thanks all for your responses!

To enjoy the pool view, I think a 5th floor unit will be good. :)
