Lifetime of your machine, not yours.free support for lifetime sounds too good to be true...![]()

Lifetime of your machine, not yours.
Anyway extended support for Win7 is up to 2020 so I may be keeping it. By then I (and probably everyone) will be upgrding the hardware already. There's actually nothing much to complain about Win7. Plus nowadays a lot of time is spent on mobile phones and tablets not like last time where PC was a daily needs.
In case anyone is unaware of this useful feature, snapping of windows (split screen) integration has been much improved in W10 with Snap Assist.

Anything. Just not THAT lifetime. What I was trying to say is, we don't need to concern/worry too much for missing some 'lifetime' opportunity. What is the understanding of "lifetime of machine"?
Is it assumed to be 2 or 3 years upon purchase of a computer? For diy pc which has its parts changed over years, the lifetime is calculated from its main board age
This feature already have it in Windows 8.1 riao![]()
After upgrading from win 8.1, now my game Arkham Knight cannot start. Always crash when loading game.
Any idea how to fix?
Thx.

I had just upgraded from Win 8 Pro to Win 10 Pro.
So a new license key will be issued to you after the upgrade ?
That's mean if I wanted to do a clean install, I will need to use the new license key ?

What if you swap out a hardware, say a motherboard?During the upgrade, your hardware specs have been sent to Microsoft. You can do a reinstall without keying in a product key. Just hit "skip" when you get to that screen.
