I am thinking to keep gas supply for cooking only and removing the citygas water heater left by the previous owner, is it possible?

For the water heater, is it only citygas personnel can remove, including sealing up the part of gas pipe?

I decided to go with the 30L Ariston to save some cash and see how it goes. This is my first time using a Water Heater tank so need to level up some experience. Been using Instant heater all my life, time to change lifestyle lol.

Gas or electrical cheaper?

Hi all, I have a Joven SA10 Instant water heater which does not heat up a single bit unless I turn the knob to full maximum power. The knob has level 1 to 8, but 1 to 7 all damn cold like never on but only 8 is very warm like what it is supposed to be. The heater going to gone case le arh? I thought Joven like pretty reliable one but both my Joven SA10 in both toilets having their own problems now.

I have a joven jh25, the round cylinder horizontal one. We have been noticing a burning plastic / metal smell when we switch on the heater. Everything else still works fine, externally all seems normal. Anyone face the same issue?

Make sure your smart plug can provide 15A current which I don't think normal smart plug is capable of. If not it will burn

Not all, the model he quoted max power is 3000watt. Divide by 240volt current only 12.5A. so 15A should be more than enough.

Any one facing issues that every 6am in the morning, my storage heater will have a high pitched noise and its super loud? My heater from Europace and they exchanged a new set for me out of goodwill but after installing the new set, the sounds still persist.

Abit headache and tired now cos this has been ongoing for damn long and HDB BSC and my plumbers are constantly pushing the blame to each other.

Is not calculate this way. Usually you need 50% allowance. 12.5A+50% is approximately 20A.

Smart means your water heater know your usage pattern and on/off accordingly.

im wondering does the tank saves more money when comes to electric bill? I been using tank and now change to instant. felt its easier to maintain and also lowering of electric bill. but those tanks I had was from like last 10years. so tech may have advance and save electric.

however didnt have experience with current tanks. maybe someone can share
