Yea my next satisfied hoot was actually mixer with thermostat! My shower in one toilet using handle mixer but another toilet using thermostat which i really enjoy using it...

remember we have shower mixer as well to adjust the water coming to our shower heads .. other people need the digital panel to bathe with them ..

Which smart switch u planning to use?

Those smart switch like dlink, tplink and etc usually is rated at 10amp - 13 amp. Dont t hink is safe to use it for water heater in Singapore. Usually in Sg they use 20amp switch for the water heater.

So u need to find smart switch or smart circuit breaker that can handle 20amp.

The smart switch only do on off, timer schedule and some can monitor the power consumption.

I use the Tp link HS110 for my 100liters ariston water heater.

By right cannot use.. but I live on the edge.. lol .. anyway the ariston got a cut off switch if got problem with electric it will just trip.

Anyway smart switch can only do all that but cant set temperature

So the AOS have this panel where u can set the timer and temperature. And if u want to off it 100% just turn off the water heater switch. But this AOS digital water heater is still not so smart just basically u cant do it remotely. The newer model might launch later this year but not so sure the date maybe u can go down the showroom and talk to Amanda..

if your storage heater is 1.5kW, then around 8A so should be no problems using this 15A smart switch. But those using 3.5kW heaters then require at least 16A smart switch (which i'm also trying to find)...or use a relay

Would like to check if anybody ever came across this brand: SEERS ?
I am interested with the DC Heater but I am not sure if this can be install in HDB, anyone can advise?

The main different if I compare the technical specs with Ariston Storage water heater is the power voltage, SEERS is 240V while Ariston is 240V. Is this the main concern?

I went in to JB in the day and came back in the evening with 2 heaters with my wife. I check the GST payable if Singapore immigration ask to pay, it amount to maximum $30.

But we walk through safely with no one stopping us. One person carry one heater. Usually immigration is don't really care unless u carry super alot to garner attention. Just walk through calmly.

Personally I think storage tank is definitely more powerful in terms of water output. But the cost is higher because you have to have cold and hot water pipe install. For me I bought a resale flat and there was no hot water pipe, didn't want to spend extra cost so instead I bought a heater with jet pump. Water output is also powerful but I feel not as powerful as storage tank. I also think jet pump is more power saving than storage tank.
