I went and got Zeelot screen protector installed. Here are my thoughts. Glass surface feels really smooth, and fingerprint scanner works (although it's a real b*tch to register one). Once registered, though, you need only press lightly to unlock. I spent nearly an hour at the shop, cause initially got problems registering fingerprints, but ended up managed to register. I got flashbacks to the time I installed WSD. Hahaha. The oleophobic coating is really quite good (or maybe it just feels like a huge step up cause my old film screen protector had a bad one since it was some random cheapo one).

I'm currently using a UAG-type of case, and the thing works just fine, no issue with any lifting of the SP or anything like that.

Could also be the surface of the SP not sticking well to the screen so need abit of nudging to stick together again

Not only Zeelot. For my WSD same. Not sure why, when wake up in the morning very difficult to unlock.

After that will be ok. I always feel its a software issue.

An update 4 days later. Sometimes I just can't seem to unlock my phone cause the phone isn't recognising my FP. Then I remembered that I encountered this issue previously using the film screen protector, since I registered the mid-section of the thumb as my FP, instead of the top-half which actually is the bit I use to unlock my phone. I re-registered my FP and things with zeelot SP seems to be as responsive as when I had my film screen protector on. The oleophobic coating on Zeelot is really quite good. I no longer have to wipe down my screen 2-3 times a day to clear all the smudges.

Yeah. I also encounter this issue every now and then. Sometimes cannot seen to unlock. But once unlock, lock unlock lock unlock like 5-6 times, all very smooth, with only a slight tap, so it's definitely something that can be fixed with an update.

I also want to share this slightly ridiculous trick I discovered that helps improve accuracy of unlocking using the FP scanner when using tempered glass SP. I registered each thumb twice. Yes, twice. One for the top half portion, and another one is when i angle it slightly such that the tip area of the thumb is what touches the display. I do that for both thumbs. Now it almost always unlocks the phone when I tap.

Have you tried to register again after the glue dried up? the glue will takes sometime to dry up for 1-2 days usually.

This apply to all WSD type of screen protector even my cheap china one from Taobao.

P/S: I removed my WSD cos the shop didn't done for me properly and they choose to says it is my problem when i saw bubble forming up in 2 days after. Obviously the glue is not sufficient. :(

I got my UV protector from Taobao yesterday and it comes with tons of items:

- 2 x front TGPs
- 1 x back film protector
- 2 x UV lights
- 2 x Loca glue
- 1 x lens film protector
- 2 x application aid kit

everything only @ $17 including shipping.

In fact, most of those mobile accessories came from China. They are more or less the same just with different packaging and branding. The main differences for those branded TGPs are its quality (better Loca glue, better glass or extra accessories.
