I just discovered mold on my shoes this morning. Brushed them off but I've a feeling they'll resurface again. I got them rather wet on Friday from the rain
Mason and Smith has a service for mouldy shoes. Do you store your shoes with a dehumidifying agent?

Does anyone have recommendations for wide toe box shoes/boots?
I know they are ugly AF but I've tried cheap sneakers that dealt with bunion pain.

Thinking of replacing all my narrow shoes and boots. Going to try and ask a couple of ateliers if they are willing to make me wide toebox versions or if it's too ugly to be made haha.

Moc toes are my least favourite style but apart from that I can only think of lace to toe and engineer boots that can still work in a white collar environment.

personal review of the shoe brands I bought for work. I bought them from department stores like tangs or the brand standalone stores sometimes on sales.

I only change my shoes when worn out. On average 1.5 years to 2 years after wearing 5-6 days a week.

Aldo- “trendy” designs
Pedro- painful to wear. Too pointed
Geox- slightly more expensive
Ecco- comfortable. A bit more expensive
Rockport- poor quality leather peeling
Hush puppies- average quality
Doc martens- very heavy
Clarks- just bought yet to try

Good that you change those shoes. Next step after Clark , can be a C&J welted shoe.

anyone got experience wearing ECCO (or GEOX) shoes/slip ons without socks?
will it start to stink if i wear it 3-5 days a week for 6-10 hours daily?

for past 8-10 years, i always wore crocs to work, but they no longer produce the model i wear. (Santa Cruz RX black)
switch to Skechers GoWalk and it stinks so bad after a month.

Aldo - crap
Pedro - crap
Geox - Great quality. A bit expensive but always on sale.
Ecco - Great quality and great design. My favourite.
Rockport - Legendary comfortable shoe. Ugly basic design though.
Hush Puppies - no idea.
Doc Marten - Is a boot brand and Red Wing is superior.
Clarks - Great quality and comfortable. Design is okay though. My 2nd favourite.

CNES I find them rather narrow even after I sized up and wore for awhile but at least you can try in Singapore.

Really good bargains in the odd stock if you are within range of normal size feet.
Was quite interested in their prototype sneaker that I think was Blake stitched rather than cemented.

Can anyone recommend if i should go for cnes vs jalan sriwijaya? looking at oxfords at 200-300+ range.
I understand CNES is GYW but Jalan is not?

TIA
