Hi bbenjt,
Since you are not using a TV, will you be using your PC for movie playback or gaming?
Do let me know.
Cheers!
Yes mostly PC music, no gaming at all and do recommend me a cd player too.

I read from Ah_tay's post that there is no warranty for the mic and am quite surprised to hear this. Can Yamahasg confirm this?
This is totally unacceptable in my view as most people will need to use the mic for calibration in the initial setup. I am now considering whether if I should proceed to trade in my YSP2200 for YSP 3300/4300 locally.
Planning for a upgrade to soundbar YSP-2200 until I saw this news, it is true ? I think this service is consider bad and should report it like lemon laws.. I view this information last day and look like a solid built..![]()
Hi, may I know how do you confirm it's YSP that was causing the problem? My 2200 also doesn't work well with the starhub set-top box and tv, but works when connected to my blueray player...Agree, People at Yamaha Sg Service dept should Wake Up.
Had a bad experience with them on the phone when i'm trying to connect my new YSP-2200 to my Samsung F8000 tv via HDMI Arc (Volume, On/Off etc.) but to no avail..
When i told the Yamaha HT Dept staff on phone of my problems faced, guess what? They told me to look for the shops sales person of the Tv and Yamaha ysp that i bought from for help and they don't know what the prob is.. Stunned
In the end i have to solve the problems myself and the issue is from the HDMI control from the Ysp itself..
Conclusion; Great products from Yamaha, tainted by Lousy Yamaha SG customer service and lack of own product's basic knowledge. thats what i can say.
Disappointing..

Hi bro,
We had been waking up or else this programme will not running here to provide online marketing. We are the first Audio company running such activities and you can do your research in which audio company that is doing such activities.
If you had called the AV Dept and our staff provide you such answer, it is because AV Dept is not a product hotline. You do not expect a admin to know about a product. We do not have Product Support Hotline like Smartphones makers from Samsung or Apple for product technical support. Therefore, we always encourage our customers to seek the sales representative to assist you or we try to assist from here or even from our direct retail shop.
Cheers!
I don't regret getting the 2200. The sound quality and features are very good for me, is just that depends on your luck whether you get a good set or not. And I agreed, the support service is a bit negative. Without the mic, can still do with the manual. I need the mic because as a newbie, I need some reference to fine tuning it.

Hi,
How are you?
I notice from your website that you have just released a NX-50 speakers. I am thinking of getting one for my PC. Is there anywhere I can audition NX-50?
Hi bbenjt,
Do you wish to consider a Network CD Player to stream your pc musics into the Network CD Player? While considering, you might also wish to be sure that you have a LAN point in the room to connect into the Network CD Player and you can use your Android or iOS device to control Songs Selection using the Network controller app.
With this Network CD Player, you will have a few options of a integrated amplifiers and speakers.
Can you pm me your email address so i can send you some bundle packages?
Cheers!
Hi Tay,
I had spoken to the sales representative whom you made the purchase from. I personally think it might not be the mic's fault as i had never experience a YPAO mic faulty in my past 8 yrs with Yamaha AV Products. Majority of the time is the calibration condition that gives the problems. But since you had made this order from Service Centre, i would like to request from you to give a try after you had collected the new mic and let me know if it is working well.
I would like to personally attend to your case of a YPAO mic. If this is genuine case of YPAO mic's faulty, i will do something for you.
Do give me some time to respond as i might be away this week for a few days. Thank you for your great understanding so far. I trust you had been a nice Yamaha customer as of what i know from my sales representative.
Cheers!
Hi, thanks for your recommendations. May I know the different between RX-V375 vs HTR-4066? Saw courts selling HTR-4066 with NS-P40 speaker which quite similar with your recommendations
Hi YamahaSG,
I PMed you but still haven't get your reply. Thanks.![]()
