Cannot detect SIM card... reboot

Anyone experience the issue with the phone not able to detect the SIM card and need to reboot? It happens a few time liao....

try another SIM card to check if the SIM is faulty... easier to change SIM at Telco (remebered it is free 1-2x for SIM fault) than repair phone .. GL ...

No. Better to upgrade.

You may end up like majority of us that (99% of users) do not encounter any problem at all.

Write problem to SD card is 3rd party apps issue, not KitKat problem.

So, please press that Update button now.....

I think it is your SIM card problem.

Just go to your telco and ask for a free replacement.

Yeah I'm having battery issues

Battery seems to last a lot longer after the update
Last time by 8pm about 40-50%+ now still 65%++ when I go back home

Wow, you get 40-50% with ICS4.3 and with KK4.4.2 you get even more. For me at 8pm my battery only left about 28% or even lower.... how did you manage to get 50%.....

BTW I still have not upgrade yet after hearing so many issues....

Different usage ? Different area signal strengths ? All come into play.


My google+ went wonky yesterday though after updating it! I don't use it though , just kept draining batt on its own under battery

Back to normal now after I force disabled it.

4.3 is JB not ICS. ICS is 4.0.

updated to kk today. after making calls, the call page goes off and changes to my wallpaper, had to wait for a while before it goes back to home screen

SingTel is slow in pushing out KK update for the masses! Only a very few lucky one got it up until now!

All M1 and StarHub users have gotten the KK update on the very 1st 2 days liao!
