To OCBC team,

I like to acknowledge that you guys, at least in traditional banking services, are way much better than DBS/POSB.
- case officer follow up on queries.
- can get most services done via internet banking and emails at my own time.
- branch staffs know their job, at least for the issues I have.

can't get these kind of quality services in dbs and posb anymore. please continue to provide these good services, especially do not remove the email service in internet banking.

thus far, one thing I dislike about ocbc is the insurance hard selling.

You wont know what you miss until you try American Express.
I only made a call to American Express.
A real person speaks to you in 20seconds.
She has the authority to perform some waiver on spot.
She propose alternative to what you need.
The experience make me wanna keep the card.

UOB, OCBC, DBS all pales in comparison.

UOB makes me wait for 3 minutes before you get a real person.
I don't even feel like calling them.

DBS, OCBC, hmm... can't remember the last time i talk to them.
I wouldn't bother.

Hello, able to switch from Frank to OCBC 360 with just phone call? Other than just cancel frank account and open 360.

Thank you.

Afraid not =(

You'll need to open an entirely new 360 account which comes with a new set of account numbers

Hello OCBC,
How come we cannot directly request for debit card pin reset through the web interface?

Hi OCBC,I can’t find the “EASY Q” option in ocbc mobile banking app. Can you assist?

Hey there!

On the home page, you should see a arrow sign at the top right corner. Slide that or click on that.

Then click on "Visit OCBC" icon.

Hello OCBC,
How come we cannot directly request for debit card pin reset through the web interface?

This is not a self-service option for now, I'm afraid. But you can request for a new PIN by sending us a request via secured email

Log in to your internet banking, but do so via desktop version. Once you're logged in, you should see a mailbox icon on the top right. Compose an email to us with your request, and our service executives will reply to your email request

After numerous conversation with OCBC Customer Service and Customer Service Manager, my late charge fee were still not waived.
It was as simple as overlooking the due date because it was a new card. I have since paid the late charge fee and although I have been a customer with OCBC for more than 20years and do like OCBC online banking features I have decided to terminate all my cards and accounts with OCBC. Although it is my responsibility to ensure payments are made, some understanding and flexibility from the bank is much appreciated.

Hi enileda3,

Thank you for the feedback.

We are sorry to learn of your decision to terminate your accounts with us, but we respect your decision.

All credit card waivers would have been thoroughly reviewed before an outcome is given, and we apologise for not being able to accede to your requests.

Generally, the bank would allow for one late fee waiver in 12 rolling months.

Does OCBC provide a notification such as email or SMS when a credit card bill is due? The only notification I have received thus far is when the electronic statement is ready for viewing.

Hi there,

Yes, you will be able to set up eAlerts via Internet Banking to receive a SMS/email reminder.

Customers will receive the reminder 7 days prior to each card due date.

Do note that no reminder will be sent if your card account is on credit/zero balance, on GIRO or have made minimum payment before the T-7 (T is payment due date).

Example: Customer’s CC payment due date is 23 April with outstanding. Taking due date 23rd – 7days = 16th, customer will receive bill due reminder on 17th Apr.

Steps to subscribe to New Bill Due Reminder:

•On the landing page, place your cursor on "Customer Service"

•From the drop down, click "Manage e-Alerts"

•Click "Online Banking Payment"

•Under “When your OCBC credit card payment is due”, select prefer alert mode(s) - Email &/or SMS

•Click "Save Changes"

I occasionally get calls claiming to be OCBC offering Personal Loans, and the Titanium Credit Card etc from numbers originating from 6679 5XYZ. I'm assuming that these are legitimate?

Is there any way to opt out of these? They even contact me on weekday nights and other weird timings (so hardworking).
