Hi OCBC,

Can I know about the performance of your product OCBC RoboInvest ?
Can we see and validate the portfolio used in past trades so we can justify whether we should put our money there?

Thanks.

I have no idea what my access code is for ibanking. Applied for an OCBC NTUC debit card.

Hi there,

You will be able to retrieve your access code via online banking:

1. Go to ocbc.com/reset

2. Fill in the online form with the following details:
• Last 8 digits of your active OCBC ATM/debit/credit card
• Your 6-digit card PIN
• Your personal details

3. A One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your registered mobile number for verification.

4. You will be prompted to enter the OTP on the screen.

5. Upon successful verification, you will be able to retrieve your Online Banking Access Code.

Alternatively, you can call our hotline for assistance.

Hi there,

There is a past performance graph provided on the platform for each portfolio.

You can make reference to that.

Does the mean return already include the 0.88% fees per annum ?
What if the return per year is negative? Is there any discount on the fee?

Hi there,

Yes, you will be able to apply for BCIP if you have any deposit accounts with OCBC. This is inclusive of the Bonus+ Savings and Monthly Savings account.

^DG

For Bonus+ Savings Account, to be eligible for 1.45% interest, need to deposit at least $500 and make no withdrawal. If deposit $1,000, and $500 gets deducted for BCIP, will still be eligible for 1.45% or 1.05% interest?

Just to confirm, for cash payment of BCIP, there will be no other charges apart from 0.30% of the total investment amount or S$5 per counter (whichever is higher)?

Hi there,

Funds deducted for purchase of BCIP is deemed as a form of withdrawal on your account balance. In this case, only 0.05% p.a interest will be awarded.

To be eligible for the monthly no withdrawal bonus interest (1% p.a) & the monthly save + no withdrawal bonus interest (0.4%p.a), a minimum of $500 must be deposited monthly, with no withdrawals made.

btw I have been meaning to write a proper feedback to OCBC about the CDM machines.... OCBC has a terrible interface on their CDM.
I probably should have written this earlier, but late than never.

I have used POSB, DBS, UOB, SCB and CitiBank CDM and all of them have this function:-
when you deposit, say 100 notes and then a few notes get rejected, for example, say 3 note get rejected so the machine accepted 97 notes.
The CDM will highlight 97 notes and give this option "Deposit More" so you can try to deposit the 3 rejected notes again.
This is so that the deposit amount can be a full 100 notes in a single transaction.

OCBC CDM does not have this.

For example you are trying to deposit $5000 to a relative or friend and want that statement to read "Deposit of $5000" rather than "deposit of $4850" and then another "deposit of $150".....
Its not neat.

Small problem though.
Other than that, OCBC staff are great and friendly. Kudos and thanks!

Hi OCBC,

For the Bonus+ saving account, the T&C says '*Fresh funds refer to funds not transferred or withdrawn from existing OCBC Bank deposit accounts and re-deposited or funds in the form of OCBC Bank cheque/cashier's order/demand drafts'. Does it mean that there's no way to benefit from having 360 and Bonus+ at the same time?

Currently I'm keeping the excess from 360 in CIMB for 1% interest.

Hi sunbox

Monthly fees will apply to the account you're holding, if you do not maintain the monthly average balance.

Hi PC-User

Fresh funds has to be money deposited from outside of OCBC Bank. So we can accept deposits in the form of cash or other Bank's cheque. Otherwise, they will not be considered as fresh funds

Since BCIP orders will be executed on 22nd of each month, how long will it take for the shares to be credited to BCIP account? If the ex-date of the share is 22nd and the order is executed on 22nd, will OCBC honor the dividends?

Hi 5408854088

New shares purchased on the execution date may take up to 1 day to be reflectedin your BCIP account.

For any additional shares you wish to purchase, the cut-off time to purchase the counters is by 12pm on the last business day of each month. The effective date will be the following month

Yes I can understand that. So if after salary credited into 360, I transfer 500 to other bank, then transfer to Bonus+ account. Does that count?

How about the entitlement of dividends? What happens if OCBC executes the order on the same day as ex-dividend date?
