Thank you for your application to buy a 4-room flat Tampines. Unfortunately, as your balloted queue position has far exceeded the flat supply, we regret to inform that your application has not been successful.
Now my qns is:
1. Its rejected because I apply at tamp or because we are not married and we applied for sobf or its not within 2km with our parents? I'm staying at pasir ris and him at simei. My fiancé is first timer and we applied for scheme MCPS.
2. What is the next step we should take: sobf for tamp again or sobf at other location or bto tamp? We don't really like bto because the wait is way too long of 3-4 yrs.
Can any kind soul explain this to me? And would appreciate for any advices. Thank you

Doesnt mean u use MCPS will definitely get a good no or even a valid no.
Doesnt mean u're not married then chances lower

Tampines 4rm has only 13 available unit with a grand total of 328 applicants with 17.6 first timer applicants for every available unit for 1st timer.

For mature estate break down, 95% is allocated for 1st timer meaning about 12 units with a total of about 211 application for it.

Thanks for the explanation. Mind advise me for my case, what is the best or save step for me to take next? Sept sobf in tamp again? Sept bto in tamp? I really want the sobf but I'm not sure will it be another waste of time or there are still chances to apply for sobf tamp again?

Sept got no BTO for Tamp, only 2 sites which is Punggol & Bidadari..So it really depends on you and your bf..

Sobf u must see the number of unit if available for Tampines..Tampines usually one of the hot spot so definitely more applicants..More applicant lowers your chances of a guarantee no..But still if Tampines is place which is convenient to both of you then go for it, it boils down to luck..

end up choosing Punggol and got a ballot number that guarantees a unit.

By the way, the application rate at mature estate is significantly higher than those of new estates (Punggol etc)

How to use MCPS when the criteria is within 2km radius of parents??

End up it would depend on the number of available units and total number of applicants..

You need to see the applicant rate and units available. What I do know is that this cycle got quite a lot of Pungool apartments for SOBF compared to Nov 14 (340 vs 118 for 4rm).

Anyway, its unlikely that you can use MCPS for Tampines... 2km is much shorter than you think.

From what I understand from other forums U can. But once the result for sept BTO is released, you will lose your queue number for this round of SOBF.
