In that case, try to download from Singtel based Fibre internet to see if that has the same issue or not.

Singtel does throttle BT traffic but then users may be able to work around the issue using encryption.

It could be bad routing from SingTel, or Server issue, or Heya/SingTel 4G issue. You may have to carry further debug by yourself.

Latency to the server is not good, from SingTel SIM Only here (5G SA connection with fast local speed), using Poco X7 Pro.

OOkla local speed is pretty slow here if I force the phone to use SingTel 4G LTE. Signal strength is pretty good but speed is slow

IMHO.
The Singtel 4G is congested with heavy download.
My Singtel 4G in my location now peak at 200 / 30.

Any Heya users who can still get 300 Mbps or even 400 Mbps now?

My impression is that SingTel 4G has been deteriorating since 2023, both in terms of coverage and Speed. I am using SingTel SIM Only Plan, now at S$15.28 per month (free 5G) and previously S$20.37 per month. Before August 2024, I was mainly using SingTel 4G as the S$20.37 plan only offered 3 months free 5G access.

IMHO.
It depends on location, time and users to see the highest speed.
Generally, if the upload is around 20, means there is a significant number of users.
Around 300 or above, the upload should be around 40 and above.

Like my location, now
Heya 4G is 152 / 22
Singtel 4G is 157 / 20

Notice (Effective 3 November 2025): New customer sign-ups for heya will no longer be accepted. Existing heya customers may continue with their heya Plans provided they maintain active plans through timely top-ups or renewals in accordance with these heya Terms.

Kind of expected.

My two cents: Singtel 4G is deteriorating since 2023 so no point to increase the customer base of 4G.

With the shutdown of 5G NSA, they can also shutdown some of the 4G Core (which serves both 4G and 5G NSA customers).

M1 Maxx is fully 5G enabled.

StarHub giga is mostly focused on 5G.

Now Eight (StarHub subsidiary) also starts to be more focused on 5G.

Even SingTel Prepaid is now focusing on 5G.

The new StarHub (Star) Prepaid plans are all 5G, but it is a postpaid plan with the prepaid name.

I look at it different :
Heya never seems to fit anywhere if you ask me. The closest is prepaid, but also not exactly.
Singtel 4G degrading is part of the plan to push users to the 5G.
Singtel don't see where to fit Heya into this plan, since they already have Gomo for 5G, and they already have an army of MVNO to start with, so might as well let it die a natural death.

Before eight launch 5G, eight was quite level or sort of same leveling in 4G space, After eight launch 5G, heya 4G become irrelevant. That's where we see Changi Mobile and Geenet fading.

I suspect in a few mths, heya will completely shut down and all users will transfer to GOMO

Singtel is consolidating and focusing on 5G - hence ramping up the support for all its MVNOs (6 mths free, or you can view as 12 mths - 50% off), so heya is not relevant cos it only has 4G

oh no, heya is like the best option IMO to park number. Have to start looking for alternatives, probably M1 maxx?
