The best way is don’t trust your colleague and only communicate through black and white and cc your manager’s supervisor. Anything discuss verbally always follow up with an email and cc the whole world.
Build relationship with your manager’s supervisor and privately bun knife your manager not capable to lead the team. All the rest of the colleagues does not matter when it comes to promotion and pay increment. No point fighting openly with them. Your manager’s supervisor can override their views.
Every snide remarks just send poison watsapp to your manager’s supervisor to complain your colleague don’t have eq and not sensitive. Every drip of poison you add to your manager’s supervisor will kill any good impression on your manager and colleagues.

ppl leave a company usually cos of the manager

throughout my whole working life, i find female managers the worst and they are micro managers.

1st one - A bit boh chup but that's fine
2nd one - Every year see her go give birth, then rated me badly for my bonus
3rd one - Super micro manager, on leave liao still disturb me on my leave days (overseas)
4th and final one - The only best female manager I ever had, very steady but very demanding, but as long as u met her expectations, she is ok and dun disturb u

overall still prefer a guy manager, usually wun give u problems.

U r not alone. Multi[le GLOBAL surveys in & outside Sgp show majority of staff, across industries, prefer MALE bosses/CEOs/Dirs ( instead females bosses).

Google it or EDMWs can type many reasons why staff prefer MALES to head/lead division/company.

At some point, your big boss is going to get sick of this office politicking and ask you to leave because this is unproductive, not helping business, and causing division within factions within the company.

No matter how capable, it's better to lose one person than to lose four. At least I would have done it that way if I were the big boss. Then take my time to replace the troublemakers.
