Yes. In fact, if the two channels are residing on the same frequency, u can even watch the two channels using a single tuner only.

Digital TV (whether be it by DVB-T2 or DVB-T or DVB-C) has this multiple-PLP function which allows all the TV channels on a selected frequency to be received by a single tuner.

Btw, I think if u are using USB stick on a PC, I do suggest u might as well get a PCI-E Dual Tuner for the PC instead. Leave the USB stick to be used on a laptop instead.

yea, that's why asking for recommendations here mah.. if not i go buy the cheapest i can find liao.. lol :s13::s13:

The cheaper ones are likely to be non-DVB-T2-lite version (v 1.3.1), not able to receive the MediaCorp DVB-T2 channels which require the version 1.3.1.

Besides, at the lower price point u probably only get the older DVB-T tuner.

But it's a pity u just missed the Halloween discount period.

However, if I'm not wrong, there should probably be a Christmas discount period, so if u can wait until then, then do wait. :o

I hope to get good offer during Black friday

When u buy, u got to make sure that the TV card adheres to the DVB-T2-lite (or v1.3.1) standard, otherwise it will not work to receive MediaCorp DVB-T2 signals, which use the standard.

As far as I know, BlackGold Technology company are the more prominent DVB card company in the US, but it seems that they do not have v1.3.1-compliant cards yet lor.

TBS is a China company based in ShenZhen, so their discount periods may not correspond to USA sales periods, though they may coincide.

Oh btw

1. If I purchase TBS5220, do I have to check the specs you mentioned earlier?

2. If I would like to purchase during black Friday, what brand and model would you recommend?

1) TBS5220 is already confirmed to be DVB-T2-lite compliant, and there is already forum user to confirm that it works.

2) What are u so obsessed with Black Friday, and must die die buy from companies participating in Black Friday promotion? Anyway, u can check with BlackGold Technology to see if they have updated their cards, or other TV tuner companies. So far I have not seen them update their cards to be DVB-T2-lite compliant.

Blackgold is UK one

Jan 2014 was told that their BGT3635 and BGT3602 support T2 v1.3.1

Not long ago they have launched another new card BGT3655 triple tuners which supports T2 v1.3.1
BGT3655 - BlackGold

But blackgold card quite expensive, can cost up to S$350 to over S$400 including tax and shipping

Then I guess I will purchase TBS5220. Or do you have any other recommend better than this?

Oh yes I made a blunder.... I forgot that when I tried the Blackgold purchasing platform, I noticed it was using UK and EU posting, so it is UK indeed. :o

I was put off by the big amount in postage for International mail.
