oh.. that one. was trying to find something cheaper than that actually. lol
ok, maybe I have to up my budget then. Thanks guys.
I hope to get good offer during Black friday
When u buy, u got to make sure that the TV card adheres to the DVB-T2-lite (or v1.3.1) standard, otherwise it will not work to receive MediaCorp DVB-T2 signals, which use the standard.
As far as I know, BlackGold Technology company are the more prominent DVB card company in the US, but it seems that they do not have v1.3.1-compliant cards yet lor.

I am looking at TBS5220 USB DVB T2/T
Do I need to check what you have mentioned?![]()
TBS is a China company based in ShenZhen, so their discount periods may not correspond to USA sales periods, though they may coincide.
Oh btw
1. If I purchase TBS5220, do I have to check the specs you mentioned earlier?
2. If I would like to purchase during black Friday, what brand and model would you recommend?

Blackgold is UK one
Jan 2014 was told that their BGT3635 and BGT3602 support T2 v1.3.1
Not long ago they have launched another new card BGT3655 triple tuners which supports T2 v1.3.1
BGT3655 - BlackGold
But blackgold card quite expensive, can cost up to S$350 to over S$400 including tax and shipping
Oh yes I made a blunder.... I forgot that when I tried the Blackgold purchasing platform, I noticed it was using UK and EU posting, so it is UK indeed.Blackgold is UK one
