Under MCPS scheme, you are given a 2nd balloting ticket if you were not selected in the first round (where a percentage of allocation are given to MCPS/PPS applicants). correct me if I'm wrong?
if I were to apply for 5-room through MCPS scheme but did not get selected during the first round of balloting, will they ballot me the 2nd round only for 5-room or will they offer me the option of 4-room as well?
What do u mean first round and 2nd round?
There's only 1 round per bto?
Except for mcps u get more chance.
what MCPS does is that you will first ballot among those that are in the same scheme. and you will be balloting for 30% of the unit allocated for the BTO. (30% of 4 rm units that are available for example)
if you dont get a unit number in this first ballot, you will get a second chance to ballot for the remaining units with everyone else that did not applied for any scheme.
so your chance is higher for your first ballot as you are only fighting against ppl that applies this scheme.
if you are successful in your first ballot, the system will put you in the "success list" where it will wait for the results from the normal ballot to come out. after that they will issue a queue number at random to you. so your queue number is not dependent on whether you applied for scheme or not.
