Anyone knows~~ what would be the minimum good salary to substain the 4 room for Geylang? No need high floor Lor. Maybe 4th floor.
Hi everyone, when I was applying, HDB asked for the payslip for the month of May. However, my payslip only comes out on the 25th of each month, do I need to call my finance department to obtain the payslip first? Thanks in advance

Yup, this is by far the highest. But then again, you wait a bit longer next few plots even more expensive. Is this bidadari plot the most expensive for 4 room flats ?

Bto price always up no down.
if you don't mind renting out a bedroom at $900,
and if combined cpf of 100k and income of 6k, monthly CPF deduction for HDB loan at $1100,
don't see that as a problem since the location is so good.
IMO the rental can cover your utility bill too.
this breeze BTO has so many 4rm units.
tong for 5 years MOP if having financial difficulty to pay in the later stage, like job retrenchment,etc..
can sell at 1mil by 2029 , but that also means you left only one chance for getting BTO. by then, you are in the mid 30s?
if don't want to risk, maybe settle for a 2rm or stick to your punggol 3rm?
it depends on how much cpf you have now. the more cpf the lesser loan you need. anyway lets do a quick calculation with the following assumptions.
assumption 1: you only have enough to pay for 5% down payment in cpf now
assumption 2: you have 4 years to store power
assumption 3: you take hdb loan
assumption 4: bonus is not considered in this calculation bcs it is a variable
for geylang, an average mid lvl 4 rm flat would be around $530k (includes OCS + Stamp duty and legal fees)
so you paid a downpayment of 5% using the Staggered Downpayment Scheme. so that would be ard $500k left
so with 4 yrs i assume you would have $100k to reduce the amt to $400k
Estimated Loan Amount : $400,000
Repayment Period (In Years) : 25 (maximum)
Interest Rate of Loan : 2.60%
your monthly installment will be $1,815
so back calculate you would need ard a total of $8k house hold income to be able to pay installment using cpf only
wow.. 4 rooms dakota alr oversubacribed.. bidadari halfway there, woodllands halfway there!!
Wah 8k quite difficult to hit I think![]()
My Punggol is 4 room.
Ya I was calculating 6k/ month should be ok right?
But our combine cpf + grant would only be 65k now but I Guess when we take keys our cpf will continue rolling and then would have 100k.
Rental needs 5 years first?
You will only need to produce the March 2017, April 2017, and May 2017 payslips once you have gotten a queue number from the balloting exercise and during your selection appointment. For the purpose of this application, you will only need to state your income details and would not need to submit any documents (be it physical or scanned documents). Feel free to take your time to prepare your payslips (as long as you get them ready before your selection appointment, which will only take place after the balloting results are released in August 2017).
Cheers.
P.S. the payslips for those months as mentioned above are for the purpose of verifying your income details for the BTO income ceiling. Do note that if you're applying for grants and/or the HLE, you would have to produce more payslips if I am not wrong.

for the 3 mths payslip, will HDB take the average or the month with the highest income? (eg. mar - 6000, apr - 6000, may - 7000. Income will be the average of the 3 months or 7000?)
