Some ppl say Yishun is slum some ppl like Yishun. Some ppl prefer having a young and vibrant neighborhood, some ppl prefer to have a elderly friendly neighborhood.

Nothing is wrong it depends on buyers' preference but probably buyer may have additional reason not to buy.

2BR includes singles aged 35 and above, and is not sold exclusively to the elderly.

why should that be a consideration anyway? almost every BTO project has 2BR units in the project.

are you saying you want purely 3BR and above projects?

The scheme is to assist lower income elderly. People who accept living near are generally very understanding and considerate to their neighbors hence certain group of buyers may turn away as not all people have the angel's heart to choose these units.

To each their own. Everybody grows old eventually.

But singles cannot buy matured estate.

Probably time will tell. Just like some people like lower floor some like high floors.

2-room Flexi is sold exclusively to elderly citizens age above 55.

Matured estate singles cannot buy. Married couples with foreign spouse also cannot buy matured estate

You need to log into the HDB website using your SingPass and click on the "View New Flat Details" and subsequently click on Registration Number (e.g. 12345678A).

Scroll down the page to "Application Details" to see your appointment date and time, and to "View Flat Selection Details" for the documents in PDF formats (Appointment Letter, Flat Listing, Information Leaflet, and Sales Brochure).

Nope. I don't see it.
At the top I just see this notification in yellow that says

Your balloted queue position for a 4-Room flat in Toa Payoh is X. Nearer the appointment date, we will notify you to visit MyHDBPage using your SingPass to view the flat selection details such as the flat list and brochure. The selection exercise has been tentatively scheduled to start from Aug 2017, subject to change.

and the rest is just my particulars, numbers to contact hdb and quick links to change information.

I also called HDB on their hotline but all they were able to tell me was that they have no information at the moment =/

HDB stopped the hardcopy practice. Too many paper wasted. You can view all the softcopies after u login your SingPass.
