Actually the HBO Max doesn't get cut off automatically after the priority trial ended. From my personal experience.

Yes to the free Disney+ being auto-terminated alongside the priority trial plan (access is via Disney+ directly), but no to the free HBO Max (access is via Singtel CAST.SG) being auto-terminated.

What the CSO said to you is true, I noticed that the HBO Max somehow automatically became an add-on under my main line within Singtel app, even when my trial line has already been terminated.

Usage of the HBO Max was still running smoothly per normal for me 1 week after trial ended, even though I had previously obtained access solely via the already-terminated trial (halfway about 1 month, during the 2-month trial duration).

I only a few days ago self-terminated the HBO Max as I wanted a clean break from the trial plan, to simplify matters and fully focus on my main line. Also, I didn't want to sonehow incur random charges (which I don't think will happen anyway) for the continued use of HBO Max after trial ended.

Hope my own experience helps you.
i activated the sub via cast website but signed into the hbo max app on my smart tv. hope it will still work after the trial end as the quality of the content is so much better than disney+ offerings.

imo:
netflix > hbo > prime video > disney+

Any iphone user can confirm that the status bar will show 5G or 5G+ on SOP?
I just recontract and is only showing 5G.
Btw my previous contract ends in Dec and I recontract last week. So you can recontract 2months early

AI Overview

No, there is no indication that the Singtel 5G+ logo will change; rather, Singtel rebranded its 5G service to 5G+ in February 2025 to reflect network enhancements, particularly the use of 700MHz spectrum for improved signal strength and coverage. Customers will see the label "5G+ Priority" in their My Singtel app for priority plans, but this is a label, not a change to the primary Singtel logo.

The ST app is the only way it will show per FAQ

Maxx SA shows on SIM Status on an Android phone as NR SA and 5G icon. IOS you need to punch some codes.

For the S$15.28 per month Singtel SIM Only plan, you do not see "5G+ Enhanced", let alone "5G+ Priority" in MySingTel mobile app. However, "5G+" is mentioned in the details of "5G Access" and "5G Service" add-on.

Still I do not know the exact difference between the "5G+" in the S$15.28 per month Singtel SIM Only Plus Plan and "5G+ Enhanced" SIM Only Plans.

Singtel does seem to differentiate "5G+" (less expensive) and "5G+ Enhanced" (more expensive) for Singtel Prepaid mobile service.

From the other thread.

It is indeed weird that you can not see the 5G+ symbol.

Whenever I can get 5G SA connection, I can see the 5G+ symbol.

BTW, I will change the phone soon to Poco X7 Pro 12GB/512GB version. I have used the Poco X4 GT 8GB/256GB version nearly to 3 years already.

Just ported to SingTel from SIMBA, but not receiving SMS. Usually how long does it take for SMS to port over? Data is ok

Looking at the 5G offerings, S$15.28 Singtel SIM Only Plus recontract offer is actually not too bad in terms of pricng. You can say other offerings may offer more data but most of users cannot use up the data anyway. Roaming benefits may be useful for some users though.

The following list does not consider special Senior Plan offer.

1) Singtel SIM Only Plus recontract offer --> S$15.28 per month

2) MyRepublic 5G --> minimum at S$9.99 per month
https://myrepublic.net/sg/5g/

3) M1 Maxx 5G --> minimum at S$10 per month (red flags below)
https://maxx.sg/#buy-now

4) SIMBA 5G --> minimum S$10 per month (but kind of 4G speed in reality)

5) Circles.Life 5G --> minimum S$12 per month
https://www.circles.life/sg/5g/

From A7997A for CL 5G offer.
S$9.90 for 1year - 5G 0.98TB w 8GB roaming PRT1TB990OO3YK/PRT1TB9904T84Q

6) Eight 5G --> minimum at S$14.28 per month
https://www.eight.com.sg/

7) M1 Bespoke SIM Only --> minimum at S$14.95 per month
https://www.m1.com.sg/personal/sim-plan

8) Gomo 5G+ plans --> minumum at S$18.33 per month (not counting the 1st month offer)
https://gomo.sg/

9) Giga 5G --> minumum at S$18.33 per month
Giga also has a 4G plan with free 5G upgrade at S$15.28 per month (from sango65)
https://www.giga.com.sg/mobile

10) Starthub Star SIM Only Plan --> minimum at S$22 per month
https://consumer.starhub.com/personal/store/mobile-plans

11) ViviFi 5G (now NSA, soon to be upgraded to 5G+) --> minimum at S$15 per month
https://www.vivifi.me/#plansMainPage

12) Zero1 5G (now NSA, soon to be upgraded to 5G+) --> minimum at S$15 per month
https://zero1.sg/plans/zero1-standard

13) Zym 5G (now NSA, soon to be upgraded to 5G+) --> minimum at S$15.10 per month
https://zym.sg/

Maxx cannot do voice call overseas. And cannot receive SMS outside of those included roaming countries. That's a red flag
