Yes. Is like no connectivity.
Personally hasn't encounter this yet, maybe lucky. sounds eerily similar to M1 airplane mode in a different form..

Then it may be related to capacity issue. Maybe SingTel and its MVNOs are too popular in the places you go.
Never really have this issue on my side.
My main issue is still more on the coverage side, losing signals in certain places. Last time got less 5G SA and more 5G NSA, but got 4G and 3G fallback in some places. Now it is like 5G SA (much better coverage than last time) to 5G NSA and then straight no signal. Basically it seems to me 4G coverage is very bad in these places.
My aging Poco X4 GT phone needs to be changed as well. I already bought Poco X7 Pro but not yet switch to the new phone.

Coverage will be more of an issue for you instead since it's so spacious over there.

Yes correct. Sounds like the M1 airplane mode. To be fair, Singtel pings are jumping here and there also.

sounds like my singtel & gomo experience up to aug 2024 when i ported out.
for me, some consistent and repeatable places for years eg parts of sengkang, in front of coronation plaza, bishan road in front of RI, braddell road opposite the new RGS.
usually toggle aeroplane mode works, occasionally need to reboot phone. just nice, eight had their free 2.5 month trial, ported out even before my free trial was up.

Then I am puzzled how were they doing 5G SA without VoNR ? Fall back to 4G with VoLTE ?
M1 had this since 2021 :

Yes, singtel even on 5G SA will fallback to 5G NSA thus VoLTE during call until now atleast on Samsung S25 series, iPhone not supported yet.
Guess I am expecting too much from Singtel.

Aware that fallback can happen, but certainly not expecting that Singtel don't use VoNR and is dependent on VoLTE fallback as the only means of handling voice call. To me such a 5G SA setup is garbage, esp since M1 (and starhub?) has been able to do VoNR for like 3-4 years.
Should be coming soon to SingTel and iPhone under its network once 5G NSA is phase out technically by 31 Dec 2025 since Android phones using SingTel starting to have VoNR capabilities.

It will be more than worth it if the pricing of Singtel 5G is cheaper than Singtel 4G.
How much do you pay for Singtel 4G now? How is the coverage?
In my own experiences, SingTel 4G is no longer a viable option due to deteriorated coverage. YMMV.
Singtel 5G SIM Only recontract offer at S$15.28 per month. For senior citizens it is even cheaper at S$6 per month.
